Stagers — Restaurant in Sierra Vista

Some of the worst food I’ve had in my life, even for the low bar of hotdogs. The dog itself was barely warm. Even if it was hot, Stager’s uses very disgusting, low quality dogs. I took one bite and immediately spit it out. Went home straight to the trash and got food elsewhere.

To top the food quality off, they got my order wrong the first try. I was willing to look past that due to other good reviews of tasty food, but the food sucks.

If you want an acceptable hotdog, even Circle K is a better option. If you want a great hot dog, go to Jimmy’s in Bisbee. Hell, you could probably even get a better dog at Sonic, which is saying something.

Stager’s sets a fine example of a great hot dog joint. I opted for a Chili Cheese Dog topped with Pineapple and an American Dog. Wow! I was one happy camper! The staff takes pride in their food and gave me a little history of the Sabrett All Beef Hot Dog out of New York. The snappy & juicy old school style dog is perfection. They don’t skimp on making each hot dog its own, definitely going above and beyond to please the taste buds. My wife and I went for lunch, we had never been there before. We were pleasantly surprised. I was impressed with the variety of styles you can order or you can custom order the sandwiches. The lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful ordering. The hot dogs were delicious! Steve's cole slaw was good too. They have a sonoran dog too, it's called the Desert dog.
