I went to Starbucks today and after ordering I noticed my price was a little higher than usual. Remind you I go everyday and order the same exact thing. So after paying I ask for my receipt and I noticed I was charged for No H20. My order was a grande açaĂ with lemonade no strawberries and no ICE I ask the girl why was I charged the no H20 and she said âwe charge for no iceâ I then asked well how come it says no H20 and not no ice she then said âthatâs how we charge for no iceâ I then call someone whoâs a store manager at Starbucks that I know and they clarified that Starbucks does not charge for no ice but does charge for no water if I said no water or lemonade because they are mainly using the base. However they shouldnât charge me for no water because one I didnât say no water and because I added lemonade. I then inputted the same order on my Starbucks app with no ice and it in fact did not charge me for no ice. So as Iâm waiting for an explanation the girl was not very insightful and all she kept saying is thatâs how we charge . I then Asked her whatâs the store number and she said youâre in Long Beach I then said ok thank you but whatâs your store number . She then told me . I then asked her whatâs your store managers name and if I can speak with them and and shhhhh stood there for two minutes saying ughmmmmmmm and the. I said so you donât know your store managers name? And she said ughmmmm I THINK his name is Alfred I think. I then call customer service In which was very polite and nice to explain my situation and how I felt like I was being defrauded by being over charged and I wanted to see if that was true through out all Starbucks. The charging for no ice but putting it under no H20. She the. Looked at her SOP and it stated NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE SHOULD BE MADE FOR NO ICE. Moral of the story is always get your receipts from this location theyâll over charge you. And you may not notice it , because I only noticed it because I go every day and order the same exact thing. And they donât provide you with the best customer service and they look at you like youâre mentally challenged. Roll there eyes at you when youâre just seeking out guidance and act as if itâs there first day and donât know the store number or managers name because they donât want to provide...
Read moreThis location is by far the worst location I've been to in terms of service. You constantly feel that whoever is serving you is still being trained. Very rarely that I have been there and found milk or cream ready out to add to my coffee. As a matter of fact as I'm writing this review in that location there's no cream out. You just have to order it. When I order tea or coffee from the locations I visit frequently they don't charge me for a pump of syrup but here when Drae wanted to charge me $.50 I told her that but she was really rude and made it sound like I was lying to avoide a few cents. I made it short and paid it but I've had it for this location. I strongly recommend the location on Long Beach Blvd and Willow in the Albertsons plaza. They do a much better job with a nice smile on their face. PS. I took a picture of the self serve area with no cream to show it but I can't include the picture...
Read moreUpdated review: Still one of my fave Starbucks! And they recently renovated their store and now have an area with cushioned seats! I love this! Now I can be more comfortable when I come to study or get some work done on my laptop. The staff is so sweet and are always accommodating. Any negative reviews are from miserable people who suffer from first-world problems. Thanks guys for always providing quality drinks and phenomenal service!
Older review: No real complaints with this Starbucks. Everyone is great here and the employees have great attitudes. Sometimes I'm that annoying customer that asks for water when I pick up my mobile order and they never give me attitude like other Starbucks and their employees. I really like that I moved by this one. Thanks guys for always being upbeat, friendly...
