If you're going through the drive thru, get the lube ready, because your order is about to get f**. The individuals who work at the window will consistently screw up your order, each time in a new and bizarre way. Never have we seen such consistent ineptitude. Today's order was particularly mindboggling. We asked for two burgers, a chicken sandwich, and a drink. Out of these items, not a single one was correct. Even the drink. The chicken sandwich (supposed to be a club) had nothing on it but chicken and lettuce. The 4-cheese burger was... well, we honestly don't know. It did have meat on it, but that's about all we recognized. The third burger, meant to be missing tomato, had everything left off of it but the tomato. This isn't the first time we've had this issue. It's every time. One of the women who works the window is particularly problematic. If you want something other than ice cream, for the sake of your sanity, GO INSIDE. And make sure you always check your order before you leave. I don't know if their workers are badly trained or just inept, but that s is wack. Never in my life's history have I seen a restaurant so poorly managed. Braums usually has higher standards. It's worth going to the next closest Braums just to avoid this place's problems. For any managers or owners who might be reading these reviews: this is how you lose customers. We will no longer be going to the Siloam...
Read moreI’ve been here twice, (don’t ask me why). The first time the restaurant was pretty dirty. It seemed like every surface was filthy. The second time, the place looked a bit better, not clean, mind you, but better (even some of the employees were wearing clean shirts!) However as I was standing in front of the ice cream case waiting to be served, I watched a roach run across the top of the case and then into the side of one of the case doors. I imagined it was inside the case with the open tubs of ice cream but I’m not really sure how the door works so I can’t be sure. Just as he disappeared into the side of the door one of the employees walked up, so I hurriedly told him about it and showed him where it went. He looked at the hole in the side of the door, investigated a little with his finger and then stood back and said, “Well, I didn’t see it.” I told him “Well, I’m sure you will at some point”. He replied by asking me if he could get me something. I have no idea what my face looked like just then but I replied with a “No I don’t think so.” and walked away horrified more by his response than by the roach. Did he think I was making it up? Is he unbothered by roaches in his ice cream? Was the ice cream case door too heavy to open and visually investigate? I will never know. I will not be returning here and honestly I may find it difficult to eat at any other Braum’s after...
Read moreBraums is one of my favorite parts of being in Arkansas. The burgers have always been fantastic and the ice cream is excellent. A lot of stuff has changed in the area but Braums stays the same. It's always a summer day visiting the grandparents in 2000 when you walk through those doors. The ice cream tastes like the recession hasn't hit yet and the burgers smell like you're about to go hang out with Kyle and play Halo after school. The paint and color scheme makes you feel like everything is ok and you have your cheap used first car and life is still out there. It reminds you of a simpler time. It makes you feel like a kid again, and that's why I keep going back. It makes me remember a time when I still believed me and my friends were all going to make it and the future was bright. For me Braums isn't really just a place with burgers and ice cream that also sells groceries, it's a trip back in time. It's a few minutes of feeling like grandpa is still alive and we're going to go to the park. It's a just a short little window, but it's beautiful.
One word of caution for OCD cleanliness types: It is not fancy and it isn't a spotlessly clean place either. This personally doesn't bother me very much but if you are bothered by an occasional fly it may not...
