It looks like I get to add to the influx of negative reviews for the Silverdale WA Defy location as of late. We went to this facility last weekend and I was terribly disappointed in our experience. To say it was life changing is an understatement...but in a negative way. It was likely over capacity and there was not enough staff on. If they were, they were likely on their cell phones or hiding somewhere. There was nobody manning the ninja course, zipline or the stunt bag (all of which say wait for an operator on their sign). Therefore, nobody to give instructions to the tons of kids running around without supervision (their rules state no one under 13 without permission). When I tried to use the warped all at the Ninja area, there were 5 or 6 kids all under the age of 10 likely, that were hanging on it and sliding down it from the top like a slide. There were kids running across the zip line bag while people were using the zip line (again, not manned).
The life changing part for our family was when my wife jumped off the jump onto the stunt bag, dislocated and broke BOTH of her ankles. Again, nobody at the stunt bag to give instructions or even be there in the event of something like this happening. That is not even the worst part. As I was assisting her, a worker crawled out of the shadows and told me that I needed to MOVE MY WIFE out of the area because he could not close that area down! Clearly more concerned about making sure people could still get to use the stunt bag. Sorry we threw off your mojo man! In addition, he shows up 30 seconds later it seems like and with a clip board and a piece of paper and says he needs to fill out an accident report. The paramedics hadn't even arrived yet. After I stated that I understood his need to get the report done and promised I would come back and get it filled out but now was not the time, he still insisted that it was protocol.
Now let's talk about protocol. Trying to follow the rules, of course our cell phones were in our lockers. When my sister ran over to the front desk to ask them to call an ambulance they said it was against their protocol to call an ambulance. What? Really? So then she asked if she could use their phone and call and they told her no. There was fortunately another guest that wasn't jumping and had their phone close and they called.
My sister and son tried to get some ice from the kitchen area and nobody was there to help. When my son started behind the counter to get some ice from the soda machine, he was snapped at from an employee coming over to finally get some ice and told he couldn't be back there.
I returned a couple of days later to get a copy of this accident report (for my insurance) they were so insistent on get getting and was refused a copy. This same day that I returned, they seemed to have plenty of employees on and dutifully managing stations (with exception of the ninja area) and putting up cones when they walked away or had to do something else. In addition, I took a picture of their sign on the stunt bag obstacle and it was so worn out that it is very likely that one these kids that are allowed to be in the arena without supervision could read it wrong and get hurt. It actually says "DO land on your head". When I asked Taylor, the general manager a few more questions after she refused to give me the accident report she just get saying she couldn't answer any questions. She told me she forwarded the report and the video on to someone for review (I am guessing their corporate office) but wouldn't even give me the name and number of that person to talk too. She said she could take my name, number, email and let them know it was urgent they contact me. Do you think I have heard from them...absolutely not. Our lives have changed. My wife cannot walk and had to have extensive surgery on her ankle. This place does not know how to care for their customers so if you value your safety and well...

I am deeply disappointed and heartbroken by the treatment my special-needs child and I received during our recent visit to Sky Zone Trampoline Park. As a parent of a child with multiple disabilities, I have always sought out inclusive environments where he can enjoy himself safely and be treated with dignity. Unfortunately, our experience at this location was anything but that.
A staff member by the name of Layla displayed what I can only describe as blatant discrimination and insensitivity toward both myself and my child. Her demeanor was unwelcoming and dismissive from the start, and she made my child feel uncomfortable and excluded in an environment that advertises itself as family-friendly and inclusive. In addition to her treatment of my son, I was personally discriminated against due to my age. Because of my son's special needs, I accompany him on the trampolines to ensure his safety and emotional comfort. Instead of supporting this, Layla and another staff member gossiped about me loudly enough to be overheard, with Layla specifically commenting that I was "too old to be here" and making it clear that my presence was unwelcome.
When I brought this issue to the attention of the lead on duty, I was met with genuine empathy, for which I am thankful. However, empathy without action is meaningless. No steps were taken to correct the situation, and we were offered no resolution, refund, or accommodation for the distress and disruption we endured. We were forced to cut our visit short and leave, not because my child was unable to participate, but because we were made to feel unwanted and disrespected.
This experience was not only upsetting—it was completely unacceptable. It is extremely disheartening to know that in this day and age, families like mine still face exclusion and judgment in spaces that claim to be inclusive and accessible to all. I expected better from a company that caters to children and families.
I sincerely hope Sky Zone reviews its training protocols and staff accountability measures, especially when it comes to interacting with guests who have disabilities—and to ensure that age-based discrimination is not tolerated either. No child should ever be made to feel like they don't belong. And no parent should leave a facility because they were treated unfairly for simply trying to support and protect their child.
Until significant changes are made, I cannot in good conscience recommend this location to any family—especially those with special-needs children...
Read moreI was there a a week or two ago and it was one of the managers his name was Jordan and he was one of the most rude workers every time o have gone their with my kids he is on his phone walking around doing nothing or just being flat out rude to customers I don’t know how he still has a job their. One time one of my kids had asked him for the free water from the fountain and he said to them “get your mommy to pay for it or leave” I was so appalled when i heard that from him. There were no other managers i could find at the time so i told a team member and they didn’t do anything. I never see him wearing gloves when he cooks food it’s so unsanitary. I have seen other employees wear gloves but not him. They always brag about how he doesn’t have to pay because for food because he is manager but i also heard him say he only pays for food when he knows the general manager is watching he is one of the most unprofessional employees there i have no complaints about the rest he is the one that i’ve never see him do anything and if he does he does it with attitude or he does it sloppy. I'm only rating it a 1 star solely because of him the rest of the members are fine the park is fine but I can't with someone who steals from his job and someone who is lazy and rude its just not for me I will never be coming back unless he is gone. All he does is lie lie lie so he will probably lie about this if you ask him. It’s insane. No one does anything these days about...
