To whom it may concern I just visited this location with the intent to order your new Wagyu Steakhouse Burger meal with fries and a coke along side a 6 piece chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce.
When I placed the order the lady taking it was clearly confused and struggling to get it right so when I pulled to the window to pay I had them confirm the order which in fact was wrong. A manager (male) came over to correct the order and turns out he still didn't enter it fully correct as he charged me for a deluxe Wagyu Steakhouse Burger instead of the regular.
Then when I got to the window to get my food the lady there handed me the wrong order almost instantly. I then made them aware that it was the wrong order and rather than take the food back she walked away from me and got a female manager who was rude in how they approached but did validate my order. At that point I thought things were going to finally be resolved but I was wrong.
She then came back a moment later and handed me half of my order (burger and fries) and closed the window on me. I then had to honk my horn multiple times before anyone came back to the window in which I then pointed out I was still missing my chicken nuggets and sauce. The same rude female manager came over and gave attitude again to confirm what I was missing and then finally handed them to the order taker and told her to deal with me before storming off.
When I got home I then realized I was in fact given the wrong burger and charged more as a result. I'm sorry but for not one but two managers to validate and still screw up the order and on top of that give me attitude as if I'm being wrong for simply wanting the order that I placed and paid for is unacceptable.
The male manager while he still got it wrong was very pleasant and tried to make things right however the female manager should not be allowed to manage people she was not only rude to me but I could see her being unnecessarily rude to the new staff who was clearly struggling to...
Read moreI write this with a mixed but honest view. The staff and atmosphere are terrific and the dining room was very clean. I got my food to go, so I rang the bell on my way out. That's where the fun ended. I ordered the burger for the first time, as a meal with the legendary curly fries and a side of mozzarella cheese sticks. The dinner totally was almost 20 bucks and it was absolutely horrible. Honest to God, this was the most disgusting food I have ever eaten in my life. The problem wasn't from the quality of ingredients, but rather the old oil that was used to fry things. Everything tasted rancid; like a random fish filet and copious orders of onion rings had been cooked at lunchtime in the same vat of oil and by dinner time when I visited, they were still using the same burned grease. Every item tasted of old, used, multi-purpose cooking oil. It's almost impossible to ruin a mozzarella cheese stick, but this Arby's found a way. The burger was expensive and bland... except for the terrible taste of "oldness" that came with the stale bun and unbalanced fixings. I have never been more disappointed in an Arby's meal in my entire adult life. My one redemption is that I need to avoid fast food restaurants and this trip made that decision 100x easier. I hope management reads this and takes my...
Read moreWent to this Arby's location (Minnesota Ave in Sioux Falls) today for my lunch break. Place my order, get to the window and receive my drink and hand my card over to pay. They went to process my card and their system rejected it. Knowing fully well that all of my accounts had plenty of funds to cover my $12 lunch, I handed over another card, the original one has had issues at other card readers, I assume this is the reason so no problem. Second card rejects also. So I try a 3rd. Same thing. I attempt explaining to the manager that I know each card has the funds to cover this and request she try a different reader as clearly their system isn't working. She says to me "No, all of them have declined. It isn't our fault you have no money. Give me back the soda" and essentially refused to help me. Of course this is frustrating & embarrassing; but to be so disrespectful on top of it, was not necessary. I left and went to Taco Bell instead....where my card worked perfectly. I eat Arby's a decent amount, and live within 2 minutes of this location, I won't be going back.
As someone that assists in training, managing, and customer service.... I can confidentially say this store was definitely lacking. If I could leave a 0 star...
