18th Amendment Neighborhood Bar — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

The first time we stopped here was late at night, and they only had the late night menu, which included several of their pizzas. They make them here each day and then keep some ready for the bartender to put in the oven for late night. They were excellent! We were looking forward to trying more menu items after that. Now we finally made it back, and we tried a Philly sandwich and a quesadilla, and they were both excellent too! The fries were the crinkle cut kind, and Dave loved them, and the Philly came with Au Jus. The chips seemed house-made and were seasoned nicely, and they gave a generous portion of salsa and sour cream, which I love on my quesadilla! My quesadilla was enough to take half with me for another meal. Nice friendly atmosphere, although the music was a little loud for my taste, but not so you can't hear a conversation. They have some pool tables, and of course, the casino attached as well. We will definitely remember this place when in the area for a meal or late...

Went in there with a colleague of mine to celebrate her new job. First time ever; so we walked in as we couldn't see a hostess or anything, and took a seat. It was a bit busy which is understandable but sitting there for about 15 minutes, waitresses glancing our way to continue walking past us and ignoring us, and not being able to speak to anyone at the bar because they were too busy flirting was very disappointing. Not once were we acknowledged and on a customer service basis, that is plain awful. That place was recommended to us for the food but the service was horrendous. I was so disappointed and now family members are in town and I will not even subjugate them to such treatment. How embarrassing. I won't even give it another chance. I'm sorry to miss out on the good food and drinks but I think management needs to have a powwow with their employees or it will...

If you are thinking of buying a gift card from this establishment, I would highly recommend not to. My friends bought one at Christmas for me and their excuse is that their machine is always down and nothing they can do about it. And no estimated time when it will be up. I tried to redeem it a couple times and was always told no, our machine is down. My last time I tried to use it was March 30, 2023, once again was told the machine is down. I contacted the merchant on March 5, 6, 9th, 2023 to see what was up and that person told me it is working when in reality it wasnt. So a merchant lies to their customers and tells them their machine is working and you can redeem it, but 3 weeks later I was told it doesnt work still as of 03/30/23. Dont waste your money. How sad, friends buy a Christmas present and then over 3 months later, still not able to use it. Bad bad...
