It felt like a bad dream eating at this buffet. What's the point of styrofoam plates, cups, and silverware when everyone's touching the same tongs, door handles and countertops? Plus, the floors/carpet were filthy and sticky and I'm not sure when the last time they tended to the bathrooms either because there were feces on the outside of the toilet bowl and paper products all over the floor. You really shouldn't be charging $14 to eat on styrofoam plates and use plastic forks you can't even cut your food with. I was afraid my fork was going to break into my food, the cutlery was that cheap and flimsy. I feel like we were essentially robbed because of how bad the conditions are in this place. $64 down the drain.... I had to tell my daughter to not touch ANYTHING and it didn't look like they just had a busy day and were behind... it looked like they just let the place go... and the caked in crumbs and debris in the carpet gave that impression. Would it hurt to run a cordless vacuum over that carpet every now and again? I've had better experiences at low-end truck stop buffets than I did at this excuse of a buffet. And I felt like a school kid when I ate their icecream in a sealed cup. I don't know if I'm angry, amused, disgraced or all of the above... Please get it together. Until then, we'll go downtown to Oshima or Tokyo and share our business with them. Hell, we originally were going to Pizza ranch but thought Hibachi would have a better selection. Now, we wish we would have stayed with our first choice. I should have known better and made a dash for the door once the waitress grabbed our plastic fork and spoon... and by the way? Is it possible to wait until the entire party is sat before your waitress rushes our drink order? I wasn't even sat down and she demanded to know what we wanted to drink. It wasn't even busy.
NEVER AGAIN. DON'T...
Read moreNormally I don’t write on these things but I ate here last night. I saw the cashier be extremely discriminatory to a young lady. She was dressed comfortably and he called her a man. I’m guessing due to her haircut. He was very blasé about it. Even after she corrected him. I overheard her talking about it with another young lady she came out to dine with. She was extremely disheartened by his words. She wanted to know why would he call mis pronoun her. She didn’t dress out of the ordinary from what I’ve seen. I’ve lived here for quite some time. I assumed it was her haircut. Which she later said was for her mom who was sick and she got it awhile back for her and just kept the cut because she liked it. It left such a bad taste in my mouth. I never want to eat here again. I’m from the east coast originally. I don’t know I was raised better I guess. I don’t just assume things and lead with ignorance. His lack of care just added insult to injury. For the service and the food to be as subpar as it is. I doubt I’ll be missing out on anything. I watched her tip the waiter in cash pay for her food and leave. I did interject into her conversation because I didn’t want her to think everyone who lives here thinks the same way as the staff. I won’t patronize this establishment ever again. It was just distasteful to see. Especially after knowing why she cut her hair to begin with. People really have to start thinking outside of themselves especially when they work at establishments that are vulnerable to...
Read moreThe food was good, but, Allot of the food that my friends and I wanted was gone and when they refilled it people were already there taking it all. And when we were at the check out one of my friends paid with a card and when he was signing it a lady was standing there taping on his receipt and wouldn't stop, he thought that she was just trying to hold it for him and when he didn't give her a tip she got mad. Then my other friend paid for his with a 20 and then only got half of what he should have gotten back in change, and when he didn't physically give her a tip to her hand she got mad and started to say something in a different language that I presume was foul language. and giving some very vulgar hand gestures. and then when we all left and went outside another friend came out and was saying that some guy wanted us and he looked like a manager and was accusing us of stealing. Then he explained to us that his waitresses work very hard to provide a good dining experiences for us, but she only came back to our table after giving us our drinks the initial time and then once for a refill and the occasional taking of our used plates and silverware which is what they are getting paid to do. They also expected a tip, which is a right by the customer to bestow upon the waitress's for good service and helpfulness, which wasn't provided. I would not go back again, especially due to the horrible service, and the worst checkout attendant I've ever had to...
