I don’t often rate places on the internet. I was very dissatisfied with my experience ordering and picking up food here as a first time customer.
I placed my order over the phone for pickup. They called me back a few minutes later and told me they were out of garlic bread. I chose cheese sticks as a substitute. They told me my order would be ready when I arrived.
When I arrived I stood at the front counter right across from what I assume was the owner or manager. He spent three or four minutes interacting with employees which involved dolling cash out to one of them. Another came from the back with a pan of food and showed it to him. Visions of Kitchen Nightmares started to enter my mind.
After a few minutes, my presence was finally acknowledged by telling me they would be right with me. As such a waited about her couple minutes while he continued to interact with employees. Mind you the place didn’t appear to be busy with customers at all.
When he did finally turn his attention to me, he had difficulty identifying my two items that were sitting on the un-heated pickup shelf right behind him. He asked me if I had everything. I informed him that my order was missing the boneless wings — they were sitting right beside where my cheese sticks were sitting. How he missed that, I have no idea. Then I informed him that the blue cheese and marinara sauces were missing. He pulled two cups of white sauce out of the fridge then set them down. I reiterated that one is supposed to be blue cheese while the other is marinara. He looked at the two white sauces then determined which one to give me. Then he pulled one marinara out of the fridge, looked at it, and threw it in the trash. He gave me the next one on the stack.
I paid the $22 that they wanted for what equated to a medium cheese pizza and 10 boneless wings. I took the food home. When I bit into the first soggy and like warm boneless wing, I checked it for doneness and was so turned off I threw the rest away.
The “cheese sticks” pizza was so poorly made that I could only tolerate eating half of it.
Turns out the white sauce wasn’t blue cheese but was ranch instead.
I have no confidence in this place and likely will never ever try eating...
Read moreThe onwer and staff are so rude, and I wish I would have known that before spending half the money I have spent with them. So about a month ago I ordered food and it arrived late and the driver which was a mixed girl that I have never seen walks up late with my food looking high off something, lost, and confused and begins to tell me she's new in town and that she couldn't find where I lived. So i tell her that's ok and take my food. Once i got into my house I noticed my food was not that warm and once I began eating I found hair in my food and my beans were really mushy and slimy. So I call the store to let them know and they treat me as if I did something wrong. They told me to contact menufy, so i did. I was suppose to get avrefund but no one called my phone or the girl never came back. However she tells the store i threw food at her and wouldnt give the food back...... Why would I waste my time calling about a refund to not give the food back and throw it at her?? I'm a 27 year old women what would be how reason to throw food at her? We didn't have a confrontationation and I only saw her when she brought the food the very first time. So boss pizza says I couldn't get a refund and now I can't order food from neither restaurant here in sioux falls. Mind you I've been a loyal customer always ordered food from them and ndver had an issue out of the two years I have been ordering from them. I have never heard of anything like that, or a manager or owner treating a customer that way. No one wanted to hear the truth from me theu just listened to the new employee who lied and decides what she said was true. I literally told the girl it was OK that she was an hour late and the store and owner treat me that way when I did nothing wrong. I have always been respected by their delivery drivers and always have gave respect and even tips...... And that's how you treat your customers. It's not right at all and I feel I was treated very poorly after all the money I have...
Read moreSad that I have to post this review. Have been a fan of Bosses for years and has always been my late night dinner go-to. Tonight I ordered my food with over an hour as my scheduled delivery time. I ordered my usual, and posted in the ‘special delivery instructions’ menu to please leave my food in the breezeway between the garage and the house. About 10 minutes after my scheduled delivery time I began to wonder where my food was, and called the store about 15 minutes after my scheduled delivery time. The man that answered the phone informed me that the food was left on the back porch - which I do not have. He put me on hold for a moment, and when he returned to the line, informed me that they would get the driver to get the food to the correct house - no big deal, I understand a simple mistake. Another 15 minutes go by and I decide to call back, this time After asking how long my food will take as I have to wake up for work, I was told “dude, the chicken alone takes 13 minutes.” I was extremely confused and asked if they were just remaking my order and sending it out again, which I was responded to with in a very rude “Yeah?” At this point, I don’t even have time to eat my dinner, so I tell the man on the phone “If I would have known that you were remaking and resending the order I would have just asked for a refund” to which he responded “one sec.” and put his manager on the phone. The man claimed “you consented to us re-making the food” and explaining what I was told, he responded “well I was right next to him when you said you did.” I should have been recording my phone call. A real shame that one of my favorite spots has descended to such a pitiful level of customer service. I would recommend if you’re searching for reviews for bosses, to sort by most recent and see for yourself how far down hill this establishment has gone.
