First of all, subway is extremely disorganized about gift card usage. Can't be topped by any other business here. It is notoriously bad at using gift cards. I have decided to never, ever, use a digital gift card in Subway. For them it is like rocket science. Today I visited this store. I order a 6 inch sandwich with a coupon. Simple enough. It was supposed to be 3.99 before tax. For some reason I saw on the machine it said it was over 7 dollars. I was very confused. So I asked "how much was the charge?" The lady who charged me suddenly pretended that she didn't know English. I asked three times in standard English and she still pretended that she didn't know. I believe that she wanted to hide the fact that she overcharged me. I asked for a receipt and they were not able to show it. Another guy came along, after another 5 minutes of transactions he said that he was NOT able to provide a receipt. I said that's cheating customer. I didn't receipt any electronic receipt either. Of course the gift card doesn't even have my email so there's absolutely no way that I can recieve a receipt any other ways. I said that it was not right. I am not sure how much I was charged then and whether the previous transactions were canceled properly and whether I had anything left in the gift card. He just said that they couldn't do anything about it. A business that cannot provide a receipt is considered fraudulent. As we were working on transactions, the lady asked rudely what I wanted on my sandwich. I said I could only do one thing at a time here. I asked as an exchange, they needed to at least make it a footlong instead, the guy just scoffed at the idea without responding. Worst experience. Subway has many stores but they don't train their employees well. Many still stay in the primitive era that they didn't know how to deal with digital gift card properly. The experierence sucks big time. And the stuff who pretended not to understand English all of a sudden after a wrong charge?...
Read moreWorse experience I've ever had from this store. They are usually on point but I got 3 of the worst footlongs ever this time they were made wrong and were so sloppy it didn't even make since to me my kids were like no thanks I'm good dad. So I call to let them know and was supposed to get a call back but didn't so I called them and the manager said he would send me some coupons out so I gave him my name and address. I thought wow that was nice cause I didn't ask for them to be replaced he just offered which I thought was awesome. It's been over 3 weeks now and everytime I call him to let him know he tells me to keep checking the mail. I only live like 7 blocks from the store and last time I called he pretty much called me a liar and told me he remembers me from a couple of years ago which is a lie and I still don't know what he was implying by that. I'm in the food business as well but so I know how it goes but damn near 40 dollars spent for nothing and now I wonder if he ever sent them out cause I remember him saying he was going to mail them out but didn't have any stamps. I really won't be going to any subway again guess it's firehouse for now on and just for future reference do what you say and never make a customer feel the way I do about subway...
Read moreIdk why it’s so hard to follow simple instructions on online orders. I ask for extra of something, and end up with little to none of it. Another time there so much of it that it’s almost inedible. How does that happen ? This is the 3rd time that this has happened and 2 out of the 3 times I’ve gone inside to pick up the order. There were no customers inside, so it’s not like it was a lunch rush mistake. Super annoying. I hate even giving a bad review because the staff is super friendly, but there needs to be more...
