Firehouse Subs is a fire fighter themed sub shop founded by fire fighters. Aside from their variety of tasty subs, what makes this sub shop different than others is the way they prepare their subs, their buns are steamed to make them deliciously soft and warm. The subs can be customized to satisfy any taste bud. They also have a variety of hot sauces to put a little fire in your mouth. The employees are very friendly and have great service. They bring your order to you, just order, pay, and have a seat. They have one of those state of the art Coca-Cola touchscreen machines. The touchscreen can be a little annoying when it doesn't recognize your touch but it lets you customize any drink with additional flavors and it has an automatic ice maker which prevents contamination from handling ice, which can be deadly, Google it. The restrooms are kept very clean and well stocked. The kids meal comes with a Rice Krispies Treat....yum. it can be substituted. I'm addicted to their Club on a Sub right now. Their bread is always tasty & the club is made consistently the same every time, which I appreciate very much. I always request no mustard (hate the stuff) & I've never received mustard on my sandwich by mistake. I like that there's small, medium & large sized sandwiches available. It gives you various options. I also love the pickle spear that is included with the sandwich. They have those coke machines where you can personalize your drink, if you wish & their brownies are fabulous. I always order to go, but whether I order through the app or by phone or in the restaurant my sandwich is always ready in a timely fashion. I've also taken advantage of reward points & the freebies you can get by taking the survey on the receipt with no problems. Half the time I forget to get my points when I order so I have submitted my receipt through the mobile app & still got my points that way. The people that work there are friendly & helpful as well. This store is very clean and inviting. Someone will call out and welcome you when you enter. The employees are friendly and efficient. The display of food items is very well laid out and tells you a variety of things about each sandwich. Restrooms are clean and there is a good air change per minute. The sandwiches are very reasonable. My favorite is the Turkey, Bacon, Ranch on wheat. The person who makes your sandwich does not hold back on the amount that is put on the sandwich.
