We've been here in the past and the food was pretty good - not gourmet but decent. Tonight we got there at 7pm and a lot of the selections were empty. It was horrible! They only put out 1 small pan of crawfish at a time so everyone was waiting around for them and maybe 3 or 4 people at a time could get any. They were refrigerator cold and either so salty or so full of cayenne that we couldn't eat them, and we like salty spicy seafood. The crab legs were barely room temp, mushy and bland, the boiled shrimp were so-so, no flavor unless dipped into cocktail sauce and some were mushy. The eggrolls were soft, nearly soggy, the fried shrimp over salted, the BBQ ribs so tough that my husband was afraid he'd bread a tooth! The salad bar is a complete waste of time. The lettuce was floating in water, the ONLY salad dressing is Ranch, the selection of toppings is pitiful. How can you screw up a salad bar? We will NEVER go back there again. We saw several people arrive after us and leave before us, leaving half of their food on the table. I don't expect them to be in business much longer. So much for the All You Can Eat Crawfish & Cajun Boiled Crabs - Oh, yeah, not much taste and so small not worth picking. The sign should read All You Can STAND To Eat!! Pass it up, go elsewhere - a total...
Read moreI took my boyfriend here for his birthday tonight (6/11/19). During dinner, we talked at length about how the food all seemed to have been out for a bit too long. Nothing was really fresh, and his favorite cream cheese wontons were soggy and tasted like grease. As we were paying for our meal ($50 for 3), my boyfriend d was finishing off his sweet tea when he noticed something black in the bottom of his cup. Turns out, there was a fly in his drink! Not just on top of his drink as if it had just happened to land in there, but in the bottom as if it - in my opinion - was in the pitcher and got mixed in when the drink was poured. 🤢🤮 When we confronted the manager, he offered my boyfriend a 20 oz coke like that was supposed to somehow rectify the situation. When we told him that this in no way was a sufficient solution, and he needed to change out the sweet tea, he yelled out to his employee to, I presume, do exactly that. However, he didn't come back to our table and offer any other solution. Instead, he began seating new guests, as if se were no longer there. This wasn't our first time eating here, but it most definitely will be our last. So...
Read moreThe food wasn’t good, even for a buffet. Wide selection of seafood and sushi. Lots of seating space and the atmosphere was nice with good music and lighting. My total bill for my wife, my two kids, 6 & 7 yrs old, and me was $39. I paid with cash but only had $20 dollar bills.
I was going to leave a small tip for the busser so I handed him an extra $20 and asked for a ten, a five, and five ones. Not only did I not get the change back from my bill, but the busser only gave me a ten and a five back from the 20 I asked to get change for. I asked where the five ones were, and he patted his apron, smiled and said, “I took 5” and walked away.
I sat there a minute, stunned that the oriental dude felt he was entitled to however much money he thought he deserved! I was going to leave him a buck or two for bussing our plates.
Bro, you didn’t provide enough service to justify taking $6 for your “tip” when you work at a buffet. The best part about the buffet was the ice cream, specifically the pecan 😂
Our daughter and son enjoyed the food, that’s what matters to me, and that is why I am graciously giving the Golden...
