Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Slidell

Me and my wife have been to this popeyes several times and it's a crying shame that the last 3 Times we have been there our order has been completely screwed up!!!!!! I spent 18 dollars on 2small meals and had to pull up,which doesn't bother me considering I have worked in the fast food industry and I know that there on a time limit, and also that usually means your food will be fresh!!!"USUALLY"!!!!! I GOT A 3 WING MEAL WITH MASHED POTATOES AND A EXTRA WING ON THE SIDE .....FIRST OF ALL I GOT REDBEANS AND I HATE REDBEANS AND THEN I GOT THESE TINY OVER COOKED WINGS OR AS IM GONNA CALL THEM BONES NO MEAT AT ALL!! I THINK THEY JUST TOOK OLD CHICKEN AND REFRIED IT TO MAKE IT SEEM FRESH..... YEAH I KNOW THAT TRICK TOO! UNACCEPTABLE! like come on really I wanted wicked chicken but of coarse they don't have it anymore at that location... it must be franchise cause corporate stores don't operate that way and then i got a three peice meal that was all dry and ity bity I'm so sick of this store I will never go there again there quality of food is a disgrace now it wouldn't be a huge deal but apparently they don't answer there phone because they must get a lot of complaints I called the other store on gause and they answered right away! just some advice from a customer that hates to cook so she spends lots of money eating out! If you don't like your job please don't work there because every person you have on the headset is always rude as can be, and if your gonna pull people up to make your times look good at least have the common courtesy to make sure the order is correct and fresh and please don't Rip people off because your too lazy to make fresh food and so you take it apon yourself to give them what they don't want! I mean I understand you wanna leave cause its close to quitting time but If I pay for it I'd like to get it so now I'm home starving no-one will answer the phone and I'm out 18 bucks what do you suppose I do about that????? Lol yeah I know I'm just screwed! And judging by your comments it's not the first time you have heard these same complaints!!!!! Oct 30th going to bed starving...

But of kids on there phone some working some on the phone. The cook was steady working but for the rest not so much. I went in the store they had no one in the drive thru an I was the first pearson to order. Its at 9 o clock when I ordered. Didnt get my food till 927. 5 other people came in left an I was still waiting. 2 of thoses were door dash. I starred saying my food is sitting right there with no response. Finally the girl grabs my food in proceeds to give it to the lady who just ordered her food. I said no thats mine the girls says no its does. I said I'll bet you its mine she looked at the food an it was mine. My name starts with a D. But I knew it was mine because it was sitting there for 10 minutes. How could it be the ladies food when she just ordered 10 sec ago. The point is there was no management in the store. Even one of the girls sad a bunch of kids running Popeyes at night. Popeyes make sure you have a manager at night. Since a two piece with one side an a biscuit cost 11 dollars basically. If yall going to charge that much have a manager working. Not 11 kids in a little space. FYI only need 6 people...

Got here early, before the rush. I've been wanting to try 2 things! The strawberry biscuit and the ghost pepper wings! Let's start and say neither disappointed. The ghost pepper wings are just wings whit Popeyes spicy flavor to them. And idk where the idea or who in helps kitchen thought of this strawberry biscuit but holy almighty, it is delicious. I'm so glad I got 2. Other than that the kids got chicken and not a home cooked meal because they earned a night of drive thru food. Can't say much about the chicken because it's always good unless it over cooked. The wait time wasn't long because we beat the rush. The service was great and friendly staff working. The restaurant was clean so it's hard to give a 5 because if fast food but usually this Popeyes has lines wrapped around the building and could take forever. And obvious the inflation price is insane. For just the 2 biscuits was 2.50 spent $30 total for 4 piece combo, ghost pepper wings and 2 biscuits.

Price increase with inflation. $45 for 12pc dark 2 large sides and 4 chocolate chip biscuits (they're pretty good) slow service per usual....
