Update ...It wasn't enough that the staff ignores me, refuses to acknowledge me unless they're snickering amongest themselves at my expense, they have sunken even lower in response to my post by booing me as I left their store this morning. In front of a store full of patrons, they engaged in publicly humilating delivery driver. Early morning 11/25/24, I enter the Front street location in Slidell, LA where instead of being greeted with a "good morning" or a simple "hello", I received contemptous glares from the staff as they sized me up unapologeticlly from head to toe and whispered low volume to each other. The unbelievably bold snub towards a paying customer was not a surprise. Not really. The snob culture displayed by Starbucks staff is well known. I mean c'mon still living with mother has to be so empowering to make you want to totally be disrespectful to complete strangers, right ? As I approached the counter, I would stop every few feet to see if my non movement would get a reaction or response. As before, just dirty looks and the staff would return to whispering amongst themselves. Unprofessional to be sure. But deliberatly rude and unwelcoming would be more accurate. I kid you not, I waited for 3 minutes as the only person in line with no one speaking to me. I finally asked the two men ( not minors) directly, "Is there a reason that noone has bothered to even greet me?" I've worked service industry jobs, and greeting guests is a must and a requirement. The response was, with an irritated tone and a glare in his eye, he said "What do you want? You need your order taken or something? She'll be back in a couple minutes." All while looking me up and down and shaking his head. I have really nice friends who cant find work right now but these disrespectful clowns who behave like middle school snobs are the local representatives for a globally recognized company. Terrific! Before heading into a long day of creative work designing custom t-shirts, I stopped by my local Starbucks to grab a quick pick-me-up — and wow, the service made my whole morning.
My drink was made perfectly and quickly — hot, flavorful, and exactly how I needed it to be to kick off a productive work session. The store was clean, the music mellow, and the atmosphere calm — perfect for that pre-work mental reset.
Shout-out to the whole team for being efficient, thoughtful, and just really pleasant. That kind of consistency and care is why I always come back. Whether I’m heading into a design sprint or just need a quiet moment, I know I can count on Starbucks to deliver the goods — both in coffee and customer service.

We stopped at this store and I walked inside to dump them and the starbucks team immediately offered to remake them for us, even though they were purchased at a different store. My husband was already stuck in the drive through, so they met us at the drive through window with the remakes. And everyone behind the window was wishing us well, safe trip, and "i hope these are better for you!". And they absolutely are! The drinks are good and taste like they should.
