Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Smithfield

8/31/23 @ 1;14pm we ordered 2 large pumkin spice hot coffees w/ whipped cream and 2 pumkin spice muffins. First off we were given the cars behind coffee and after a minute later we were asked to give it back. Then we got our muffins which were very good. Then we got our coffees. After 20 minlutes I finally picked up my coffee to have a drink. It felt very light. So I opened the lid and was instantly pissed off. The coffee only went just passed halfway point on my large coffee. I understand that it had whipped cream in it but to put 40% whipped cream in a large. I feel very cheated. So I opened my husband's coffee and his was to the top. I'm very very upset that this has happened. Scooters has always been our go to coffee place. Smithfield Scooters has always provided 110% customer service with a smile. To us it seemed we were just a burden to these employees and just wanted is to go. I'm not sure if I'll head back to Smithfield anytime soon. Since Clayton's Scooter is loaded with excellent quality and excellent customer service. The only reason to go to scooters is the fact that it can be quicker than starbucks and many local coffee shops aren't open before school. Scooter's is the most hit or miss coffee I've ever had, and it's WAY too expensive to have my drink made wrong regularly. If you order a frozen drink, you can hear them if they mess up the drink trying to reblend it, and anytime i hear it, I know it won't be right. But the only way to fix it is to sit all the way through the drive thru line again, and I never have time for that. Today, I ordered a large oreo blender (I added 2 shots for no extra price) and it was 7.31. They had to reblend it, and when I got it it tasted like water. I probably won't finish, and I wasted 7.31 on it. One time I went through early in the morning and my drink tasted sour. I had to throw that one out too. The milk was definitely spoiled. When I get my drink and it's good, it's fine. But usually once or twice every two weeks it's wrong, and it's a waste of money. Instead of going to Scooters, a local place or even starbucks are going to be cheaper, more consistent and taste better. Oh, and the food...

Where do I even start! I can NOT say enough great things about Scooters Coffee and their staff! They know you by name, or even by voice, they know your regular drinks, from rain to sunshine they have smiles on their faces, and just an overall happy atmosphere to be around. Josi, Ashley, Caroline,Maylyn are my girls! They legit keep me hyped up, they are so encouraging and remember small details, that encounter daily and it makes my day! I’ve seen a lot of baristas and truly love seeing a lot of them grow as well, from having babies or going off to college. It truly feels like a safe space, I will never go anywhere else. It’s very hard to find happy places to go anymore and people that actually want to be there, but these girls go above and beyond and it shows, they are great individuals and they make a Great team as well.
