T House — Restaurant in Smithfield

This spot was worth the drive. We came from Clayton. The place is adorable, the decor is awesome. The drinks were delish and the staff was very friendly and made my daughter feel seen and welcome (some places overlook the kids) which is a big plus in my book. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the music playing was not acceptable for kids. I tend to tune out music in places and my daughter came to me saying there were “bad words” in the music. It was rap with several cuss words in it. I don't think I'd return here. It took them 10 minutes just to make 2 boba drinks with 2 staff members when I was the only customer there. The pearls are extra, which is silly. The boba also tastes watered down, nothing special.

I asked what toppings they had for their waffles, and they just have chocolate or condensed milk, which you have to pay for, or you pay $5 for a plain waffle. That's kind of crazy to not have decent topping options and charge that much. Who puts condensed milk on a waffle? The rest of the food just seems like frozen microwave food.

This place needs better management/ownership. After this experience, I'd rather drive the extra distance...

This place is amazing !!! I absolutely love boba but the closest place was a 30 minute drive, this place is right in my backyard. I got the Vietnamese Ice Coffee and it was so good. 100% recommended. The atmosphere inside is also so cozy and as a college student, a great place to get myself a drink and get some work done. The people inside were also super nice and inviting. I will definitely be...
