I'm actually probably one of the most frequent visitors to the park, as I live nearby, and attend college online from home. I use the park as a nice break from studies, to clear my head, and occasionally sketch some (so if you see someone drawing you in the park, that's probably me and I mean no harm). Occasionally the structurally challenged can be a bit of a diversion from the scenery but all in all it's a fantastic park.

Sept 2024 Addendum... It's not the parks fault, nor is it the city's. We all know who's fault it is that our town, and our park, is now little Mexico. I have not been able to relax or find a quiet spot in a long while, as it's always someone blasting mariachi music or something akin, or it's someone's quincinera or whatever, regardless the reasons the park is now constantly packed with our friends from South of the border.

I'll re-recommend the park after January 2025, hopefully. Until then be prepared to press 5 for English pretty much...

Great huge park! If you keep going past the splash pad there is a creek! And there is access to it with little trails. It's really pretty. There are over 10 picnic tables and benches surrounding the park and a concrete path all the way around the park. The splash pad closes at 5 pm on Sat and Sunday and they do have two staff members in the splash pad area to enforce the rules, they did today when we went which is a Saturday. It was very crowded! So I recommend getting there when it opens at 11. We got there at 3 and it was packed! They also have a huge pavilion towards the creek area and a playground with swings. I didn't get any pictures of the playground because we didn't even play on it. All over...

This is one of many Smyrna parks, this one is mostly known for it's summer time splash pad for young children. There is no fee to enter the splash pad with restroom facilities on site, plenty of parking but limited seating available. Metal benches scattered throughout the park, a few picnic tables as well. Bringing your own camping chair would be a good move, maybe even a big picnic blanket as well, lots of shade to set up under. A small paved walking trail loops the entire park, moderately used daily when the weather is nice, a few inclines throughout, but inclines are not drastic. There is a big pavilion with more seating but not close enough to the splash pad if you have kids there.

I stopped by this park on a random Wednesday morning. There were hardly any other people there This is a great park for a stroller walk. The paved trail is .06 miles long according to the signs. The path ends abruptly and doesn’t form a loop so you could accidentally end up on the road or on the sidewalk. There’s tons of parking space and it was clean. Lots of seating There’s a basketball hoop in one of the parking lots, but this would not be a good place to play a game. The water park was closed for the season which makes sense for November and as someone else mentioned before, there’s no regular park but a lot of green space. There’s also a way to walk down to the creek.
