For this Friday's out and about exploring of new restaurants, we tried Chili Chop. I'd found the location on FB Reels or TikTok and it looked good. I'd sent it to my better half and he said, "let's go." OK... it's a hole in the wall in a strip center. But you know that sometimes those places are absolutely wonderful. And this was one of those times. From the time we walked in, we were welcomed. The lady working the front went through the menu... explained the options and even told us about options that weren't listed. I decided on the Heat Combo... the hubby decided on the Regular Combo. You're going to find that everything is made to order. So nothing just sitting around. The sandwiches are what I'd call burritos in a bun. 😁 Wrapped in foil and then paper. We were warned to keep the foil on... And with good reason! These are not sit in the car and eat sandwiches. They're moist... they're juicy and DELICIOUS! Now, I got the one called the Heat. It was not overly spicy but had a good level of heat. I was told if you like it spicy, just ask for hot sauce. I'm kinda torn by that because the general flavor of the sandwich is really good and wouldn't want to cover that up. The Combo comes with thick potato wedges. They were good and neither of us were able to finish all of them. They have some side dipping sauces I want to try next time. We opted to dine in. The dining room is a bit small and standard. There are only about 4 or 5 tables. But, it's clean (spotless clean) and does the trick. I imagine if it's busy it can get quite full. Honestly... this style of food is pretty unique to the Metro. It's not quite a Philly Restaurant... it's not quite a traditional Chili Shop... It's more of what you'd see with a "loose meat" restaurant from the Midwest. But whatever you think it is, it works. And we'll be back!

This place is the business. I am in from out of town and was blessed to have this the first place I ate in Atlanta. This place is so good I don't even know where to start. Walked in to a charming smile and a great smell. I asked the owner what she gets and she let me know the original. This sandwich is nothing but perfect. it is the best flavored chopped meat sandwich I have ever had. I was skeptical about the bread but I learned to trust the process because it came apart perfectly with every bite. If you are in Atlanta just come in and try it you will have no regrets. The fries are also top notch but you got to try them unsause first so you can really appreciate the flavor she puts on them. I will be in every time I come to Atlanta. Get in there

My wife and I stumbled on this spot while going to the Mexican spot in the same plaza the name is what got us to peep in ;and I’m glad I did the costumer service was fantastic although the restaurant was 45 minutes before closing the young lady explained the menu the atmosphere was somewhat quiet we ordered the same thing the chop box it comes with baked fries and a soda (the chili is made with turkey)it was kind of expensive than I would have liked the food was good and fresh the parking is a little thin because it’s in a plaza with other restaurants i highly recommend this place but please be patient because the food is made to order.

I am such a HUGE fan of anything Chef Angela does. I’ve been a fan of hers since my very first makeup class that she catered back in 2012. I was an avid customer of her meal prep business, Lifestyle Cuisine for YEARS. And now with Chop Chili, I am beyond excited to have a new favorite of Cobb County. The beautiful thing is that I can run over, see her beautiful smile with her customer service, order my meal, indulge in her DELICIOUS food, and it’s all within the experience of placing an order.

Now the food… I think I’ve tried everything on the menu and EVERYTHING IS MY FAVORITE!!! I literally have to rotate my favorites because each one is so good!!! I’m currently (as I type this) craving a chop chili sandwich… the one with the jalapeños… but the chop chili dog is always my go to… and then if I need something to make me feel warm inside my chili is my go to… and then when I want something more healthy, the taco salad is so delicious… the chop burger reminds me of my favorite childhood meals “the Sloppy Joe” but grown up and more tasty… my husband LOVES the nachos and requests them weekly lol… and to top it off, I always have to get the loaded wedges with extra special seasoning (the stuff she keeps in the silver shaker on the counter 🤤.) So you see, I can’t just pick one thing because everything is sooooo good and made to order, made to perfection with love, fresh, hot, and delicious!!!

Now on to the best part of everything Chef Angela does… her customer service is second to none. You are instantly greeted with the warmest smile you will ever encounter. She makes you feel at home and that serving you is truly her pleasure. You get your food in a timely manner and she is consistent with the flavor and vibes every time you eat her food. And she’s so beautiful Mc her spirit, her energy… everything.

I’m so grateful for this staple in our community. It’s easy to locate (right off the exit on 285), there’s always ample parking, and you’re in and out in minutes (and she doesn’t beat you over the head with the pricing.) Cobb County is blessed to have Chop Chili as one of the neighborhood favorites. I can see Chef Angela take this business on the road with more eateries, items in the grocery store, you name it… Thank you Chef Angela for giving us quality, tasty, and affordable food to enjoy...

Amazing food, customer service and atmosphere!! The moment that I walked into the restaurant for the first time, I was greeted with a smile and staff were warm and welcoming which really makes all the difference to me.

Everything on the menu is great but my favorites are the Heat and Chop Chili Dog with spicy beef link. Their chop chili cheese recipe is very flavorful and delicious and the food is made with fresh produce. You can tell that you are getting the best quality food. We have also bought Che-Che’s Chili Spice Blend and used that to season dishes we make at home.

I’m so glad that this restaurant opened in our area as it brings diversity to options available. There really is nothing in the area that compares to Chop Chili and I highly recommend it. There is something on the menu for everyone. I will definitely...
