Monterrey Mexican restaurant 21 Kenwood Plaza — Restaurant in Smyrna

I typically love small establishments and will do everything to support them, especially a delicious Mexican restaurant, but boy was this the worst I have ever been treated. I do not write bad reviews because it can be so damaging. But I have never wanted an establishment to suffer more. They are rude, insolent, racist, ignorant and dismissive. All I did was order a quesadilla, and it took one hour to be brought out to me. I asked about my food multiple times throughout the hour long wait, and was ignored, forgotten about and dismissed. Once I finally got my food, I told them I was upset about the wait, and they again dismissed me, pushing me out the restaurant, not caring at all what I had to say in a calm tone. Not willing to compensate me in anyway at all. Over and over again the manager said I don't care, get out of here. I told them I was going to leave a bad review, and he didn't care at all. Once I got home, the chicken was over cooked, extremely tough, and the black beans were disgusting with no flavor and in straight water, no bean juice. What terrible food, what terrible attention, what terrible customer service, what a terrible terrible establishment. I'm honestly dumbfounded they could have messed up something this simple, this bad. I will never go here again, and if you care about being treated right, and eating mexican food that taste good, I recommend never going...

I am disappointed in this place. I went to eat today with my daughter and my best friend for the first time and we had the worst experience with the waiter that we had from the beginning, his attitude was very arrogant and the way he always responded was very arrogant. daughter is barely 6 years old and she realized how badly this man treated us, I think his name is Marco, it was very disappointing. I didn't try the food because I felt so uncomfortable that my appetite went away. I asked him food for my daughter and I have All the food on the table but not my daughter food and my daughter's food were brought half an hour later by another waiter, a man, I didn't ask his name, he went to try to save us the night but it was already too late that boy gave us the worst service I have ever received in my life. My first experience here exceeded my expectations, but my visit today — not so much. First, we were greeted by an older white lady who lacked personality and warmth. She walked us to our table and said “sit there” while she pointed. A witnessed this same lady directing the staff in a manner that I found to be quite alarming. I’m not sure of her role, but she certainly should establish some people’s skills. Now, to the drinks… we ordered a peach margarita pitcher that was absolutely disgusting. The peach flavoring had a very weird taste and tasted like it was expired. The server was gracious enough to take the pitcher back and only charge us for one margarita.
