Placed order in advance by three days, picked up as schedule, and the order is wrong. Ordered two dozen that included one glazed original and one custom mixed. Upon arrival the glazed dozen were ready but the other dozen was not and while waiting the employee filled the custom dozen and told me the order was accurate & complete.
When I returned home I checked my custom dozen and only received 4 out 12 doughnuts that I actually ordered (2 chocolate iced filled and 2 jelly). The store employee at drive-thru without any notice or providing any options substituted more glazed original (even though I already had a dozen), cinnamon sugar (plain), and lemon filled (yuck) vs. cake batter, chocolate glazed, and strawberry iced. So I end up paying for doughnuts I did not order or want.
I've already reached out to customer service who said they would review with the store, but I have not heard anything in weeks. The store is unreliable with online orders... sometimes they're ready, sometimes they're not. Sometimes they want you to pickup inside and other times drive-thru only. And many times what you order will not be what you receive.
If you arrive early 6 AM-6:30 AM, good luck since they'll open when they feel like it and make you wait until they do. If you pick up in the evening after 9 PM expect the employees to be more concerned closing the store at 10 PM than taking care of their customers. Whether early morning or near closing hours this store regularly keeps as many lights off except the minimum so you can't tell if they are open or closed... easy to notice when you drive by them 2x a day. The store might look deserted and very dark, but they're actually open.
Even though Krispy Kreme doughnuts are amazing, I would not recommend this location until service improves and management actually cares about their customers. Maybe if things improve on the next couple trips I'll update this rating...
   Read moreI live super close by but my first visit was 09/30/17, where I sat in the drive-thru for 23 minutes for a dozen donuts (it was really longer but I didn't start counting until after a few minutes), I couldn't leave bc it was my youngest sons birthday and my older son wanted to surprise him with donuts and we were blocked in, so we commenced to waiting : ( So I fiiiiinally I get to the window and no apology for the wait was given, I asked if I could AT LEAST get a bakers dozen of donuts (basically ONE free donut) and the cashier laughed it off, took my money and came back with my box. I advised him I was not kidding that that wait was utterly ridiculous and he proceeded to then apologize (FINALLY) and advise me the reason for the wait was because they RAN OUT OF GLAZE!! I understand a lot of things but surely not how a place that serves NOTHING but donuts (well 99%) runs out of GLAZE?!? I mean seriously people? If you don't get some dang milk and powdered sugar out and get busy lol..But I digress-so that was my first visit, my second visit was the following Monday (10/02/17) when I had to stop by to pick up 2 dozen donuts for my sons class since they only allow KK GLAZED donuts :/ I was back again praying for better results since it was a tad bit before 7 am, I just KNEW this would go better..Wrong...WRONG! I sat there in drive thru..a LONE vehicle no one ahead or behind me and STILL waited for 15 minutes..why this time you ask? Because "It's just the machine was going slow" at least this time I received a swift apology for my wait and 2 free donuts..however I will not be returning to this location-I will give them 2 stars bc of course the donuts were still good lol but gas is like $38.75 a gallon..way too expensive to be playing with these folks, I feel I deserve a free box of donuts and a gas card as much time as I spent in...

First of all - the online system does not allow orders of the magnitude we need and the catering menu does not offer the items we require. So - I am forced to place multiple online orders every week to get what I need. I order three days in advance and then, after three weeks of getting the order delivered on time I received a text - one hour before they were to be delivered - telling me that my order could not be filled because they only had half of the order. I spoke with corporate and they asked me to contact the manager, Brian. I spoke with the store manager and gave them another chance. I ordered the same order again for this morning. One hour before my expected delivery I received a text telling me my order was cancelled and I would need to call the store. That was not helpful. I called. The store rep said they had my order ready but their system was down and told me I would need to get back online and re-order so they could schedule a delivery driver. By that time I had no assurance I would get my order placed and delivered on time so I was forced to become my own delivery driver and go to the store - 40 minutes round trip - and pick up my donuts. Krispy Kreme has a great product. However they have forgotten to serve their customers. They have forgotten that their own internal issues and problems should not become their customers problems. Until I am confident that this issue is resolved and I can be sure that the South Cobb - Smyrna Krispy Kreme is willing to go the extra mile to serve their customers I will choose a different...
