The last few times I have gone to visit drive thru during late hours, it is an insanely long wait for fast food. Today there were a few people inside, so I am unsure why it takes so long. I waited 30 mins in line for food that i ordered 15 mins prior, and onlt 3 cars ahead of me. Plus my order was wrong and I had to go back all the eat through the drive thru to ask for a refund since I am vegetarian and my food had meat in it. At that point i wasnt even hungry thinking about how long I would have to wait again. At the order screen, i explained needing refund, they offered to make me something else, i said no. When i get to thr window they give me thr correct item and i say okay i didnt ask for replacement just refund, said she needed to get manager. Manager said since it is online app order i have to initiate refund through the app...well, that is a first I have heard because there has never been an option in any fast food app for a quick refund button esprcially if order has been processed. I asked her to guidr me how to initiate that, and she takes my phone to play around to try and figure out...a bit strange for me, as I am particular about hygiene and someone else touching my phone without asking. She said if she can't figure it out on the app then she'll do the refund on register anyway, and I am thinking then why did she not origianlly just start the refund when i mentioned at order speaker, rather than making me ask for it again at the drive thru window and then telling me it had to be done with the app which she herself did not...
Read moreWell, inside dining is available.... don't get excited! They apparently are not really wanting to open up the inside restaurant ... by their actions anyway. Big open dining room sign. Lol Sign at door saying to keep social distancing rules apply. Upon entering, I went to counter to place order and first thing out of their mouth is card only. This doesn't set well with me, Covid or not Cash is legal tender and by law must be accepted as payment! If they are not ready to handle the challenges of opening, then don't open. The girl was wearing a mask and gloves, however the main preparer in the back was not wearing his properly,, lol his mouth and nose not covered. He had a mask though lol. So, anyway, I get my food and proceed to sit down and eat. Everything ok there. While I am sitting down, they turned away a customer, he only had cash. Then the next 2 customers enter and suddenly, they are only taking orders from the kiosk (1 of 2 ) which is confusing for many people. Customer Service is only a couple of words here. No sincere effort to provide it at this Taco Bell. My advice on Taco Bell inside dining is a big NO, don't do it. Lol Patronize restaurants that are committed to your safety and wellbeing. If you are like me, you yearn for a relaxed eating experience. Getting tired of food on the go as a norm. Happy and Safe Eating!!!
Update: Dining room here is probably not going to be open. It was not when I went last. They said not enough employees since school started back. Gotta feel...

I went here a year ago when they were promoting the salads with the fresh avacado, I ordered that, fries and a chicken taco. I get home and the salad had no avacado, the fries were limp, cold and greasy like they had been sitting around and the soft chicken taco was cold.
Tonight I ordered the fish taco plato, and the wet burrito carne asada plato...same situation. The fish tasted stale, hard on the outside, rubbery on the inside and greasy like it had been sitting around all day and everything including the chips are cold. I took one bite of everything, then had to toss it all. My 4 yr old said his tummy hurt after one bite. Now I'm pissed bcuz I have to cook dinner tonight when I hadn't planned on it.
The sad thing is I used to love Del Taco...loved them in AZ and ate there for over 10 years...everything was always hot and fresh...when I moved to GA...same thing, the Cobb location is always fresh made.
However, I will NOT EVER eat at this east west connector and south Cobb location again! The management does not care one bit...and the food tastes stale and cold like it sits around all day. I was gonna eat at Cielo Blue next door, but thought I'd give this Del Taco location another chance...Nope, nothing has changed since I complained the last time....
