TLDR; Magnolia Laine is a lovely bridal shop with considerate and kind staff, a gorgeous variety of reasonably priced dresses, and an efficient, detailed process that made the whole experience flow smoothly. 10/10 would recommend (:
Magnolia Laine was the first bridal shop I visited during my search, and it was by far the best experience. Submitting an appointment request was super easy and straightforward, and I heard back from the shop within 24 hours. Prior to coming in for my appointment, I was able to view a selection of their gowns via an online lookbook and mark my favorites for my bridal stylist to get a sense of my vision. I also was able to message with my stylist (Logan) beforehand and send her any additional details, ideas, and inspo pics to consider when choosing initial dresses for me.
On the day of the appointment, I finally got to meet Logan, who was an all-around lovely person to work with. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and nervous about trying on dresses for the first time, but Logan made the process extremely fun & comfortable, and I really felt like she was listening to my likes/dislikes and was very skilled in choosing dress selections based on my preferences as the appointment went along. She even threw in a few "wild card" dresses just to change things up a bit and to give me an opportunity to try on styles that I maybe hadn't considered before. Ultimately, I did my find dress during this appointment, but I had two other bridal appointments that day so I did not say yes immediately. Logan was very respectful and understanding that I was interested in seeing what other shops had to offer and didn't push me to say yes or cancel my appointments.
After having gone to my other appointments, I could not stop thinking about the dress and experience at Magnolia Laine, so I reached back out to Logan and was able to set up a return appointment later in the week. I came back in, and Logan had my dress ready for me to put back on. Once I was in it, she picked out some different styles of veils and accessories for my to try on. For the rest of the time, my party and I were left alone to just sort of take it all in, celebrate finding the dress, and take as many pictures and videos as we wanted - we were also treated to some champagne when I finally said yes to the dress. After that, Logan measured me, and I worked with her and manager Sophie to figure out sizing and to place my order - I left with a goody bag and feeling very confident & excited about my decision to go with...
Read moreI had the BEST experience at Magnolia Laine! This was my 6th bridal appointment, and I was still struggling to find exactly what I wanted in a wedding dress. I had a specific dress in mind, but was having a really hard time finding it in a store to try on. Sydney helped get that exact dress to the shop just in time for me to try on with my bridesmaids while they were all in town. She had also picked out dresses that were in a similar style plus some other unique elements that I loved. I ended up choosing one of the dresses she picked for me (that I wouldn't have picked for myself)! I literally got goosebumps, which I wasn't expecting at all! If Sydney hadn't worked so hard to find the exact dress I wanted to try on, I may not have come to Magnolia Laine and found my dress - but she did, and it was so wonderful! Once I said YES we were given champaigne to celebrate! Thank you thank you to Magnolia Laine and Sydney for doing everything possible to find what I thought I wanted, and beyond!!!
Adding an update to further support the fact that Magnolia Laine is the BEST bridal shop ever! By the time I took my dream dress to my first alterations appointment (not at Magnolia Laine - I now live in KY), I discovered that the dress I had ordered was way too big on me now. My seamstress was worried that having to take in so much of the dress would signifiantly change the design of the dress I loved so much (plus it would be more expensive). She suggested I reach out to the shop I had purchased the dress to see if there was anything they could do. I was hesitant to reach out to Magnolia Laine, because I figured it was no longer their problem, and I had signed a contract. But I was really wrong! Sophie was so kind and helpful and got in contact with the designer of the dress to see if an exchange was possible. With her guidance, I was able to measure for and order a new dress from them in a smaller size. She got me the new dress very quickly, so no delays in alterations were caused. My seamstress was really impressed Magnolia Laine helped me too, despite her suggesting I reach out to them (she figured I should at least try). This is likely an exchange very unique to my situation and depended greatly on the designer of the dress too, but I am so thankful to Sophie and Magnolia Laine for helping me figure this situation out.
I am now married, and my dress was PERFECT! I'm so happy I found my dress at...
Read moreMagnolia Laine was my first and only bridal shop I ended up going to! I currently live in Knoxville TN but no bridal stores around me had this one dress I have been thinking about for over 6 months. So I planned a weekend trip to Atlanta and my mother, my MOH and one of my bridesmaids all came out of state for this appointment. Logan was my stylist for the day. She texted me the day before for some dress photo inspo so she can have some dresses ready for me at my appointment. When I walked in, she had 7 dresses pulled down ready for me to try on, including the one dress I had my eye on. I was looking for a botanical lace a line dress, which all the dresses she pulled were exactly that! I had filled out the online portal that asked my dress style, my venue and what type of vibe I was going with. Logan had researched my venue prior to my appointment to get a better idea on what kind of day I wanted! When I tried on dresses, Logan was quick but did not make me feel rushed at all! I was a little nervous at first, but Logan was so comforting and complimented me the entire time. I had one dress I really liked but didn’t love the straps it came with. Logan was super helpful in telling me I can change/alter the straps it had to make it more comfortable to me, and showed me different options I could do. After I tried on the dresses she had pulled for me, I put on a robe and went into another room with her and pulled down any other dresses I wanted to try on. I pulled a few fitted dresses, as well as some more a line. She made sure I could try on as many dresses as I wanted. We tried on the next few, and then it was time for the dress I drove there for. I put on the dress and it was everything I wanted. It was perfect! I felt truly like a princess in it, and it was definitely worth the 3.5 hour drive!! It was obvious that this was my wedding dress! Logan was so happy for me as was the rest of the team there. I had the most amazing wedding dress shopping experience here and I highly recommend their shop and team to any...
