This Jake's needs better employees!! Ordered on line during the week at 8:20 p.m. after going thru all the ordering a message came up & said it was to late to order as they were closing soon!! If they had better help, they could have completed in 40 mins which was what was left before closing. Then 2 nights later we tried again, at 7:39 our order was placed, said would be ready at 7:59. I walked in at 7:55 and the girl had just put the burgers on the grill!! By 8:00 they started cleaning the place, which explains why they don't take any orders. The manager comes out from back room at 8:10 with clean tea containers!! If I wanted a tea that wasn't gonna happen. Then finally at 8:15 I was given my order!! Really??? Maybe if they were more concern with service then closing neither I nor the man that was there before me would have had to wait!! Not to mention do we really need the carpets picked up and vacuumed while our food is cooking or a man and his son are eating! I understand getting what you can ready for closing if you are not busy but if you close at 9 then close at 9 not 8. If you don't take orders on line after 8 then state that!! So if I'm gonna say some negative ,I'm gonna also say something positive...returned a few nights later and I can say it was a little better. We were told online does stop taking orders at 8 which explains the last two times, but we ordered 5 doubles so that really holds them up from cleaning. Since we had to walk in and order. But they weren't cleaning at 8:10 so that was good. One burger was forgotten so everything sat there while those burgers cooked, and I watched the cook throw fried onions out that never made it to that last burger. Lacks customer concern. My family and I visited the Smyrna location a few months ago. My wife and I ordered burgers and fries. Our two boys wanted fish sandwich meals but as they do not like anything on them, we specifically stated TWICE that they be made plain. When they arrived at our table, both fish sandwiches were topped with lettuce and tartar sauce. We asked for the fish sandwiches (which took 5-10 minutes to receive initially) to be remade without sauce. A minute later the sandwiches returned with new buns and the lettuce removed. Our problem was that the sauce was simply scraped off of the fish. We stated that this was unacceptable and asked for them to be remade and our money refunded. They stated that this was their policy. I hardly believe that this is true and if it is, it should be rethought as there are reasons people ask for food to be prepared certain ways (ie. dietary, allergic reactions to ingredients or simply personal preferences). Needless to say, my wife and I did not enjoy our food as our kids were without while we ate our entire meals waiting for theirs to be made. Our kids finally got their food and we never got even a partial refund for our inconvenience or had the manager try to address our request. The corporate HQ tried to intervene after contacting my wife over a submitted complaint over their stated procedures. The franchise owner refused to contact us or try to make it right. We will not be returning to this location. There are many other local establishments that offer better customer service that would rather spend our hard...

First time ever going here. Had to step out and use the bathroom after I had put my order in. Came back and sat down and waited a while. Went up and asked if my order had been completed because I had stepped out to use the bathroom. Apparently this was not something that they like to hear because they had other orders ahead of mine and figured I was being a crappy customer. The two ladies behind the counter decided to talk about me while I was sitting there rudely. Then when I did finally get my burger it was still not finished completely in the middle it was red. When I finally got the Burger home I realized they did not cook the top bun and it was still partially refrigerated. The fries were soggy with no salt on them. I would recommend really not going there. I believe the outcome of my burger was because I asked a simple question do the fact that I didn't realize how long it took for them to make a burger at that establishment since I had never been there before. Now I will never go back...
