Bella Villa Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Smyrna

The food is usually good at Bellas. I always get there turkey subs and sometimes pizza. However, this is the second time i had something delivered to my house and the bread was hard and seemed old as it broke apart hard. I called the manager tonight and she only offered 10% back. I took it for the first sub hoping the second one would be better plus I didn't want to give them a hard time since I order or go there alot( I order 2 whole turkey subs). However when I open the second sub it was worse than the first one. The entire sub roll was hard and breaking. Unfortunately they are closed this late as I am writing the review but if they were opened i take this sub back and get my money back. I am hoping that Bellas read these reviews and I would like a full refund on both of my subs because I am a faithful customer there. I plan to call them when they open to try to get a refund. If they don't I probably will never go there again, but I hope that's not the case. I never want to pay for something that I have to pick around and eat a piece here and a piece there all because of hard bread. I have been in customer service for 28 so good customer service means the world to me. I hope they do right for there customers because no one wants to waste money on something that do not enjoy...

For a traditional italian restaurant, the pizza was good, nothing spectacular, but I did like it...but the bruscetta we ordered...NOTHING like what I imagined. The tomatoes were great, plenty of them and a perfect amount of oil...but there was no fresh basil, or really any at all (was dried), tiniest amount of garlic and onions...then they topped it with parmesean cheese...no, not fresh parmesean, but the dried, shaker kind of parmesean cheese. The croustini was tiny, and soggy...the whole plate was just odd and unappealing...but I ate it...was starved, considering we had already waited well over 30 minutes for just that...and that brings me to my final point...we were one of 3 parties (4 or less people in them) in the restaurant when we got there...a few more trickled in after us, and everyone got their appetizers before we did...the take out calls started coming in about 20 min after we ordered finally got our plain cheese pizza after about 50 min...BUT the server we had was nice, pleasant, and had a smile on her face :) (the tall, blonde girl...very nice!). We come through this way about 2-3 times a year and always stop, and I'm sure we will give Bella Villa another shot...just my 2 cents, but looking at their awards they have received, maybe today was...

I ordered BBQ wings from this place twice and both times the food was not good! I both times I ordered 10 wings well well done w/ fries. 1st order wings were not well done and barely had sauce and no flavor at all. 2nd time I ordered I explained to the hostess what happen the 1st time and she assured me my wings would be well done. I checked my food prior to me leaving and food that my wings were not well done and they were barely cooked. She took the wings to the back and I waited 20mins for her to give them back. She looked nervous handing me the bag as if she didn’t want me to check my food. I didn’t check and I assumed this time they would be cooked properly. I got home and found that some of my wings were black and burned while some were cold and soggy. The hostess put the top on the wings so she knew exactly what they looked like and she still gave them to me. Horrible food! Not only that the place does not look clean behind the counter. There was a guy making pizzas and mopping and sweeping and he never washed his hands. Poor hygiene practices and...
