Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Snellville

The place was clean and the service good. The food was off. I ordered General Tso,'s Chicken, which is supposed to be sweet and slightly spicy with a kick from garlic and ginger. In the past, it was always one of my favorites. All I tasted was chicken that was overly sweet like syrup. Threw most of the food away because I couldn't force anymore of it down. There was no other flavor besides sweet. I was looking forward to the spice and ginger, but got syrup instead. There was little rice in the container and I couldn't get a good taste of it because of the sweet chicken sauce on it. The egg roll also left a lot to be desired. It was big and tasted like the oil needed to be changed. The stuffing inside was bland. Nothing was good about this meal and I am not happy to say that. This restaurant was one of my favorites because of the consistency of good food and service, but this is the second time in a row that the food was off. To Management if you read this, please fix what's wrong and bring back the great quality food and service that this restaurant had in the past or this loyal customer will not continue patronage of...

Never had any complaints until yesterday. Called in a order for beef lo mein get to the restaurant read tag on bag it says BEEF lo mein, get it home first thing I see is a shrimp on top. Call them back to tell them I'm allergic and can't eat it can I receive a credit and was told I had to bring it back. It was after 4 p.m with rush hour traffic the ride would've easily been 25 mins! What really got me is he wanted me to bring it back when COVID is still a real thing! That's disgusting and low down he has no idea what I could've done to that food and wanted it back. Wasted money and time will never patronize again. Be careful they are reusing food...

The food here is very tasty and comparably priced. For quick takeout Chinese food I think it’s great. Being part Asian I grew up eating and cooking Asian foods. I’ve tried other restaurants in the nearby area and the taste is not as good as this restaurant in my opinion. I usually cook my own but when I don’t Hong Kong is our quick Chinese go to. I have never ordered anything other than Chinese food from this restaurant. I cannot speak for their fried chicken, fries nor American dishes.
