Not sure what people see in this place other then convenience. If you are seeking quality this is not your spot, there are plenty near by Mexican food options I would highly suggest over this spot!
The salsa bar is gross and skeptical on whether itâs worth dipping from. Itâs does not taste fresh!
I came for a simple bean and rice burrito and was beyond disappointed! Not only did it also have a funky taste but hardly had any filling! I asked them to add more and not only did I get a rude attitude but was told, that is there serving portion and I would have to pay more next time to have a FULL BEAN AND RICE burrito!!! Are we serious? You have to be joking for a 9$ burrito you canât even fill it up with BEAND AND RICE?
The lack of customer service and cleanliness, inconsistency in the menu $, poor execution, and lack of freshnessâŚyou lost my business and I would highly not recommend this location at all!
If they canât get a bean and rice burrito right I wouldnât even dare to try anything else. We are in San Diego home of some of the BEST MEXICAN food in CA there is no lack of quality options right...
Read moreI have been coming to Rudyâs for over the last 13 or so years.. it was actually my favorite quick Mexican spot of all time. Very disappointed with what it has become after whatever face lift they did to the place. Their carne asada burrito was the best iâve ever had and i used to tell anyone that would listen to go check it out - now sadly it is borderline bad⌠burrito is noticeably smaller and has way less meat overloaded with sour cream and other fillers. Not sure it was an âoff dayâ either judging off other recent reviews from long time Rudyâs patrons who noticed the same thing. I can understand prices going up with the times, part of life. More than happy to pay a few extra bucks for the same quality burrito that i grew up loving. The problem is that itâs sadly not the same.. if you are going to raise prices you need to keep the same quality/quantity!! Higher prices + lower quality = bad business! Hope the management realizes...
Read moreHole-in-the-wall Mexican counterserve with outdoor patio seating. Came here on a Saturday for lunch and it was a quick walk from the Winners Circle hotel. There is a parking lot with ample spots however. This place does take credit card and you order at the counter prior to receiving your food. You tell them if youâre sitting indoors or outdoors as thatâll determine which counter theyâll call your number from. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The carne asada fries we had is good to feed 3-4 people comfortably and had guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream on top. I liked the thin cut fries although they couldâve been a bit crispier. There is a salsa bar inside as well as a drink dispenser to the left hand side of the counter. The carnitas tacos was very flavorful and the tortillas are handmade - they were thick and tasted fresh. Overall itâs a good spot to grab a quick bite of some yummy...
