At first I would wait sitting for my order only to have to go up there and ask after 25 minutes, only to be handed cold food. Then I would stand near the entrance where anyone in the kitchen could see me, head in my phone, and at first they would hand me my food still warm. Then they went back to not calling out the order and setting it with the drive thru orders. I would ask for it and they would hand it to me...until they started setting it around the corner where I couldn't see it, and I would get cold food again. At a certain point I overheard someone saying I was impatient, yet I had never complained about how long it took or harassed any of them over it. They just took it personal that I would stand where I was visible to them. If they didn't want me to do that they should have called out the order when it was done. I think some of them literally just think I'm trying to skip the drive thru line when I just don't want to contribute to the traffic problem that often stretches to the roundabout. Eventually I left a bad review (which got deleted, not by me) after a girl there was especially rude, and the next time I showed up she wasn't there anymore. They began to ramp up the harassment more after that. Then they started leaving things out of my meals. Then the employees would stand in front of me when off the clock and slowly back up until I had to ask them for personal space. They said subtle things to mess with me to imply they knew who I was and were watching me. Eventually I would look upset due to the harassment which they very much started, and I believe they used that as confirmation to get more of their coworkers to harass me. I tried to tolerate the behavior but it lasted for years. The last time I ordered food there there was barely any traffic, and I could tell they were skipping my meal to make things at the fairly slow moving drive thru. The lady managing that day was wandering around making small talk with random people in the place while I waited for 20 minutes for my food. After I stopped going there I had someone at another business harass me and mentioned they knew I used to go to McDonald, so they're also making sure the harassment spreads...
Read moreBeen living in Soldotna for 11 years! Rarely eat McDonald’s unless it’s late during fishing season. Although our experiences have declined, drastically over those 11 years, it is the worst…and that’s coming from a former employee! I know what a sandwich tastes like when sitting in the warming bin. The buns are rock solid and ingredient’s dried out. Fast food? Slower than snails. Went through drive thru last night and the blond haired girl with glasses who took our order took forever to open her window so we could pay. When she finally opened, no hello or thank you. Zero affect. Zero customer service. Filet of fish disgusting, dried out and the fries were white, or basically RAW! My husband is a DoorDasher and is CONSTANTLY complaining about the lack of service and respect for their customers. A recent dash pickup and he waited for 20 MINUTES. Fast food??? Joke! When my husband kindly checked on his order, after being there 10 minutes already, he said that it should have been ready and the manager quickly quipped, “Everyone is waiting for their orders “, at which my husband commented, “Then that is a problem!” Soldotna McDonald’s needs an overhaul and it starts with the management. DO BETTER! McDonald’s is iconic and the Soldotna store takes for granted that NOTHING else is open at midnight or that the customer is and always should be FIRST! $38 for two #6’s and two cheeseburgers??? ...
Read moreI ordered a cheese burger. I bit into it and all I got was cheese and one small pickle. There was no meat in it. I was already driving half way out of town. But turned around all disappointed and upset because it was a waste of time not getting what I ordered and I just for off work. So I was ready to eat a goods meal. I went back in to McDonald and explained the situation. I said I deserve a Denali burger for giving me a nothing burger. But they just slapped a burger in the bun and said here you go, your cheese burger, sorry. I didn't like the way I was treated. I thought for sure they'd really understand my disappointment. So I think I still deserve a free Denali burger for all the trouble I've gone through. AND, I had to wait for 15 mins for someone to catch my attention that I was...
