Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Soldotna

Lacks Quality!!! Love Papa Johns, they are my go to for carbs and sodium, I mean pizza. So naturally when a PJ open in Soldotna, my bank account drained and my waist gained - which was fine with me. However right from the get-go they had problems. They would forget the extra sauce cups, or give me the wrong size or even the wrong pizza was packaged. Employee's are always distracted and not the most attentive pizza flippers either. Why right this review? Because twice in a row we've ordered a pizza for our family and twice they stated they never got such an order. Even though it is recorded for "Quality assurance". We're done with them since they refuse to fess up to their mistake and treat us like a bunch of crazy simpletons. My advice is do a walk-in order and physically wait, or get a pizza else where. You're not missing anything considering several times they forgot sauce, and even once only put about half the cheese on our pizza. When confronted they offered a free pizza, but when trying to pick up your free pizza they 'supposedly' put into the system, it is no longer there! poor management, poor leadership, etc. This last time cause grumpy kids because they were expecting a pizza when PJ said it would be done. This was our first and let time at a Papa John's. We are new in town, walked in and ordered and the redhead at the register walked away. We stood there for a few minuets then another girl came to take our order. Our card was declined, not from a lack of funds. We used another card and thought it went through since nothing was said by the cashier. 20 min later we find out its two for one on Tuesday so we asked to add another pizza since it wasn't mentioned when we ordered. We asked how long it would be and she did, " well since we never started your other order 15 min." We asked why and she said your second card payment didn't go through either. We asked, " why didn't you tell us we've been standing here for 20 min," she answered it was on the register tape. Well customers cant see the register tape. Absolutely astonished by the ineptitude of the staff we walked out and went to Domino's where our card did go through....

Just ordered a pair of glasses from Vista optical next door and was feeling really hungry it took me longer to decide on what pizza I wanted then it did to make the pizza LOL I ended up with the works the smallest one because it was just for me and next week I heard about buy one get one free and of course I will get a much larger one I got home I had to reheat because of me living out in Kenai Alaska and they don't deliver out my way but it was still really good I enjoyed the garlic sauce and the peppercini pepper I will order a game that's for sure "The Works"👀 yum yum yummy and not just cuz I was hungry the dough and the sauce and the ingredients...
