YUMMUS — Restaurant in Solon

YUMMUS is an absolute gem, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and warm service set the tone for a great experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made thoughtful recommendations based on what I was in the mood for.

I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with a side of hummus and falafel, and everything was bursting with flavor. The shawarma was tender and perfectly spiced, the hummus was creamy and smooth with just the right amount of tahini, and the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft inside not dry like you find in many places. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients and attention to detail.

The menu has a great variety of options, whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or just looking for something hearty and healthy. I also appreciated how clean and well-organized the space was. It's perfect for dine-in or takeout.

Honestly, it's rare to find a place where the food, service, and atmosphere all hit the mark, but YUMMUS does exactly that. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others. This place lives up to the hype. YUMMUS...

I had a taste for more authentic style shawarma (with thin bread) vs a gyro (thick pita) as it's hard to find sometimes....Yummus has a great chicken shawarma -the thin crispy bread was awesome-garlic sauce delicious and seasoned well. From the young man working in the store, the cook , and the owner everyone was very nice and welcoming ! The owner is super sweet -I found out it's a family owned business after speaking to her. So many flavors of fresh hummus to choose from- Ive never seen so many options at other restaurants . I tried several flavors-all yummy- but I love spicy so I took home some Jalapeno hummus-was awesome. The owner also said they make special orders of some foods outside the normal menu if given advanced notice -so awesome! Also ,the French fries were so fresh and the seasoning on the fries were amazing -I would come back for all the food, even just the fries! -thats how good they were. The food and just the kindness from everyone made my day . Overall, you won't be disappointed everything I had was 10/10 -was definitely worth the 30 minute drive out of my way to get there and I will definitely...

I haven't ever been to a Turkish food spot before, but after ordering a beef and chicken plate and a lamb shawarma, you can consider me sold on it! The staff were extremely nice and thoughtful, helping me through the wide selection of unfamiliar foods, beverages, and sweets. The tastes of everything I had (pictures attached) were very balanced and flavorful, even beating out some of the other Mediterranean food I've had in the past - my favorite was definitely the plate with the chicken and beef (the price is a solid $12.99 instead of it being that per pound). I also highly recommend the non-alcoholic Barbican malt drinks - they aren't widely known about but they are some of the most delicious drinks I've ever had - I need them to give me a box!

10/10 for the service and even more for the food, and if you're considering eating here, I would definitely recommend it! Ask them about anything that catches your eye and give it a try, and maybe we'll even run into eachother since I'll be back many many many more times in the near future!
