Update: a full year after my original review, it’s sad to say this restaurant is known for skimping customers, I’ve consistently had half filled tacos, thin crunch wraps, nacho grandes that are literally half sized. It seems this may be a taught practice at this location. Often time items are completely missing from the orders. It’s a pretty consistent disappointment.
Original post: This taco bell is a little too inconsistent for me to rate any higher. Let me start by saying this, the service sometimes is perfect friendly, professional, and quick. Then, other times, it's slow and grumpy, and the employees seem bothered to do their jobs. Then the food.... sometimes it's picture perfect, and other times it looks and feels like you got maybe half of what should be in the product. For example, a grill cheese burrito shouldn't come out to the customer looking just slightly bigger than a soft taco. The food is a 50 / 50 chance of being made right. I think this place is still here just because customers love the taste of tacobell period, and in this town, that is basically it. Which is kinda of sad. The time inside of the store is bland, and often dead, it doesn't feel welcoming and feels like a depressing institutionalized mini cafeteria. Maybe this contributes to the hit and miss service and food. However, on my last dine in experience, I was disgusted by the soda machine. It was dirty and had an off smell to it.
Overall, this store is just ok. Some employees are great others, not so much, and the food is...
Read moreNot a good experience the last time we ordered from there. My kids wanted Taco Bell the other evening, so to save time we did the order online to pick up at the store. They each got 4 tacos and a drink, I got a dinner box (because that's cheaper online). We get to the store to pick up the order and the main doors were cable tied shut, so I went around to the other door which was hanging partly open. There was an employee cleaning but didn't greet me, no one standing at the counter, so I had to talk across the room to ask if I could walk behind the counter to pick up my order. We proceed home assuming it's all in the bag. Upon arriving home, about 8 mins away, the food was all there but no sauces, which I specifically ordered them with our order. We always order extra meat because if you don't there really isn't anything in the tacos, so that being said, the tacos were completely soggy and stuck to the wrappers that when you tried to pick them up, everything falls apart. Ready for the best part? It only cost us $38 to eat there. IMO- not even worth it!! Most likely won't return anytime soon! Truly sad that the restaurants we have around our area can't even take pride in...
Read moreFirst let me start with saying there were maybe two other customers in the building and the drive thru was empty when my family visited the Somerset location. We ordered our food at the kiosk and decided to pay at the counter but it took almost 6 minutes for anyone to come over even though they were all looking at us. After we paid they gave us our cups but shorted us on a cup no big deal until it took almost another ten minutes to get the missing cup then when we got our food half of our order was missing and they acted like we were inconveniencing them and there play time because that's what it was it looked like a daycare behind that counter or better yet a playground at school. There was what we believe was a manager there but she was the worst of the employees. It will be a long time until I consider returning to...
