I don't like giving negative reviews; however, this Dairy Queen in Somerset is not the Dairy Queen you're looking for. Service here is S L O W.
Even if you utilize the drive through your wait time is not acceptable. As a matter of a fact I've noticed that your wait time increases in the drive through if someone orders a meal or anything other than ice cream. Rarely will the attendant ask cars to pull forward and allow ice cream orders to proceed. Longest I've been stuck in the drive through is 15 minutes, and that was just for a sundae and mini blizzard.
Staff are not curteous and are not trained to deal with customer service issues. I've had multiple issues at this location, slow service, incomplete orders, melted ice cream, and every issue was dealt with as though the customer was the issue. I've never received an apology or an offer to correct the issues.
Management does a poor job of training their staff how to deal with the public. Until the owners of this franchise can get their management to hire and instruct the staff accordingly I do not recommend visiting this location.

Read moreWe decided to go there for dinner this evening as it was a busy day. We were not thrilled with the food. First of all, $45 for 3 of us to eat is crazy. I know the prices are all inflated thanks to COVID-19 ruining our country, but it's not a good price for the quality you get. Although the food had a decent taste, it wasn't accurate. I ordered a 4 piece chicken strip basket and got 2 pieces plus 4 little popcorn pieces, which looked like they were found at the bottom of the tray. My son's burger wasn't correct. It came without the bacon, and he didn't even want to finish it. My other son's meal was correct, which actually had the 4 (full) chicken strips, and he was pleased. Why didn't we tell them about it..... well as we started to eat our meal, a little league baseball team came in with their parents, which made an extremely long line. The ice cream we had was exactly what we ordered, and...
Read moreDid they hire a child? There was a 11/12-year-old-looking girl working behind the counter when I came here. The cashier was trying to enter an employee discount for an employee who came in to eat. Having trouble entering the discount, the cashier went back to the kitchen to seek help from her co-workers. A young (11/12 years old) looking girl came to the front, confident that she thought she could help. However, she was relatively argumentative with her coworkers, and she acted like she had to prove to them that she knew how to fix the situation. It ended up causing the employees to take much longer to figure out the discount, and left me waiting an unusually long amount of time in line. I understand that everyone’s situation is different, and sometimes kids have to work, but it seemed odd to me that a 11/12-year-old looking/acting individual would have so much freedom in a fast...
