Oriental — Restaurant in Somerville

ORIENTAL has the best food!!! My Ma Ma comes from CA. and her first stop is ORIENTAL ALWAYS !!! She is a vegetarian she enjoys the vegetarian delight and also loves the spring rolls . I can always count on a great meal no matter what time it is !!! She brags about the food her when she goes back home and travels with the family she still will ask what did you order mmm that sounds good !!! Also my children love the food by name GENERAL TSO's CHICKEN (I like it MILD because it's usually really SPICY so please BEWARE) and we get FRENCH FRIES that's what pleases basically all the children the 7 yr old is the one that requests it and the 17 yr old agrees... and everyone is HAPPY !! ORIENTAL...

The high school girl answering the phone is rude. First of all, who answers a restaurant phone line with a simple, "hello". She also didn't tell me the price or how long will it be ready in. When I got there she was mad at me for calling back to get my answers. Didn't say hello or goodbye. Just took my money and sat back down with her headphones and cell phone. Before this incident I asked for tofu with lomein, apparently it wasn't on the menu so I couldn't have it.

Talk about pleasing the customer. Awful...

I got the combination D, assuming that like most if not every other Chinese restaurant at least all that I’ve eaten at pork fried rice would be included especially at $12, but it was just the appetizers you had to order rice separately which would put me at about $20 which in my opinion is a bit high for the quality of the food.
