Seoulville is a great stop if you want high quality, well prepared, and delicious korean style dishes! The atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy, and the customer service is amazing.
The vibe is very mom and pop shops and I love that. I kinda assumed the man greeting guests and took our order today was the manager/owner. He remembered our order without writing anything down! He also allowed my wife to order the kimchi fried rice with beef even though the item was not on the lunch menu(only dinner menu). She was absolutely thrilled.
The Korean fried chicken, honey glazed soy sauce, is perfect. The sweetness, the savory, the saltiness, the crunchy coating all made those wings a complete hit. The wings are small but they pack all the flavor in the world! Going to get the larger size next time!
The bulgogi over rice in the hot stone bowl was delicious, I ate every last grain of rice. Exactly what I envisioned, and tasted spot on, not too saucy so all the ingredients shined.
The kimchi, omg the kimchi. The flavor is what I like, not too fishy, a little sweet, and packs a ton of flavor. And heat, it's spicy, it's a slow burn that builds but it's worth it! The kimchi fried rice is my all time favorite here. My wife couldn't stop raving how much she liked it.
It also would be a korean restaurant without multiple sides to go with the entrees. Cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, and seasoned broccoli. Loved it.
The real suprise treat was the radish soup! It was what we really needed after walking down the street in the cold. Its peppery and spicy in all the right ways. It warmed our hearts and our tummies! Never had it before but not I am hooked! What a find!
If you like tea, order some hot tea with your meal, its a nice ready to drink tea that was prepared beforehand and is at the perfect drinking temperature and flavor, not under or over brewed!
10/10 recommend to a friend. Am 100% going...
Read moreFor everyone who is reading reviews online, read all the 1-2 star reviews. It’s very accurate. I agree with all the other reviewers who gave them 1-2 stars. I would give this place zero star. I went there with my friends for dinner. We wanted Korean food and found this place online. The decoration was simple and the place was clean. My petite friends usually can’t eat a lot and we always like to share dishes. We put in our orders and few minutes later, the server notified us that the kitchen refused to take our orders if we can’t order one dish per person. I couldn’t believe they had the audacity to do this. I never in my life have received this type of treatment. People should be able to order what they want to eat or the amount of dishes they want and not what the chef/owner/ manager believe people should order. This was unbelievable. I really wanted to leave but my friends insisted to stay so we stayed. Picking this place was a bad decision. We had to order more dishes in order to be served. It was ridiculous!!!! By the way, the side dishes were a joke. This was the most miserable side dishes offered in a Korean restaurants. I have been to many Korean restaurants and none restaurants offered that little side dishes. At the end when they gave us the check, they added a 20 % group surcharge on the check, this was the tip. Since when a restaurant can add a group surcharge on the check? It was so funny that this place believe they deserved 20% tips for treating the customers they way they did. The whole time there, I was so upset and I believe my friends were uncomfortable as well, we ate as fast as we can to leave the place. It was so uncomfortable. They really make sure we don’t return to...
Read moreSeoulville is a great spot for dinner. I’ve been here a few times for lunch and my entrees just haven’t been as good. Maybe there’s a different chef or the dinner crowd get them going more. Either way I’ve had two really great dishes there that have been noteworthy. Their Nine Delicacies appetizer is tasty either for lunch or dinner. The appetizer comes with thin mini pancakes that you use to wrap a variety of nine things: shrimp, beef, mushrooms, eggs, egg whites, carrots, bean sprouts, and zucchini. Sounds filling but even split between two people, it’s a good enough portion to allow me to eat my entree as well. Now for my entree - I’ll admit to never straying far from my favorites. My number one go to with Korean food is beef bibimbap. If you don’t know what that is, it’s rice in a hot stone bowl topped with beef, different vegetables, and a yolky egg. Since it’s in a stone bowl, once you start stirring it all up - the egg cooks and everything just mixes into the perfect fried rice. Like I noted before, not sure why - the lunch bibimbap is decent but the dinner...
