My recent experience here was not great. I had my birthday dinner here because I had such a great dining experience a few months ago for my anniversary and thought the experience would be the same. I brought my family - total of 14 people and we were not greeted at all. My boyfriend arrived early with wine and they did not bring a bucket of ice until 20 mins later when I got there.
Overall, it’s the service that really killed it for me. We went on a Wednesday night and our waiter barely said hi or greeted our group. I think for a place like this, the little things such as saying hi would be nice. He did not once ask us if we wanted anything else to drink, we had a few kids at the dinner that wanted soda. It felt like such an inconvenience every time we asked him something. I had to literally waive him down multiple times for him to come over.
My family is also shy so we wanted to see if they could do anything family style - he wasn’t helpful in explaining the menu and I got frustrated that he couldn’t try to help. It’s super disappointing and really tainted the experience for me.
Will I come back any time soon? Probably not. I think places like this could only serve small groups.
I really tried so hard to enjoy it, but all I wanted was just good service. At one point, they were 3 people just standing by the...

My family recently came here for dinner time after making reservations. This is our 3rd visit and we noticed a serious decline in service and food quality not to.mention increased prices. We have always enjoyed this place but can't say this was an anomaly.
Firstly, the bill was ridiculous at $175+ without alcohol and with only 3 entrees. See for yourself why.
Then, they took almost 20min to come and take our order even though the place was mostly empty on a Friday night at 6pm. The servers were just joking around at the back and the host was staring aimlessly into space for minutes on end.
For the appetizers we ordered curry puffs (3 very small ones with very little filling for $12), weird looking escargot ($13) that tasted disgusting and made me sick eating them and shrimp rolls which were were decent.
For the entrees we ordered the seabass - good but has became very small in size ($36), lamb which was way too fatty and made my daughter sick ($34) and pad Thai which was very dry.
Dessert was sticky rice which was really the only good dish along with the ice tea.
On top of that there is an automatic 20% for service - how insulting. Not coming back and going to try other good Thai places.

Read moreStopped by for an early dinner with a friend. The restaurant was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up. The menu has a much more reserved amount of selections than other Thai places in the area. There are 2 vegetarian appetizers, all noodles can be make vegetarian, and a selection of 5 entrees can also be made vegetarian.
We started with the Vietnamese rice ravioli roll which was by far the highlight of our meal. It’s a mixture of mushroom and assorted veggies that are rolled into a rice sheet, steamed, and served with a delicious brown soy-like sauce and crispy onions. Delectable, do not skip this. We ordered a red curry and thai basil veggies entree to share. These were also very good— crisp veggies in the entree, velvety coconut forward broth in the curry. Service was quick to serve and pick up.
The only qualm I had was the automatic gratuity of 20% that was applied to our check for a table of 2. Industry standard is automatic gratuity typically applied to parties of 6+, and is ALWAYS displayed in writing. I think this is a very cheap and grubby practice, and ultimately disincentivized me from leaving a higher tip
While the food is good, I didn’t appreciate the billing practice and will continue to patronize other, equally delicious Thai places that are more...
