To whom it may concern: On Sunday may 4th 2025, at 11:44 am. A black African male, walked in cordially and jovially greeting the baristas, two caucasian woman. Soon the man requested a cup of ice, nothing more nothing less. Just a cup of ice! The baristas with a prejudice look, told him in order to get a cup of ice, he must purchase something. The man who religiously use the laundromat next door and the dry cleaning, emphasizes on not having a problem to purchase something, but other baristas have given him a cup of ice without demanding him to purchase something. The man agreed but the arrogance of the baristas left a bitter taste in his mouth, he walked away and said:” never-mind i will ask subway next door”.
Two hard working immigrants were serving two customers at subway. He said:” im going to be honest, i just need a cup of ice nevertheless if i have to put him something to obtain it, let me have a cookie”. The servers smile and said:”no worries do you have a cup?” Surely the men serve himself plenty of ice without the need to purchase anything. Humanity is not lost after all! It was not busy as much when I entered in. There is no automatic door for those who need it. Free WIFI is here as well, can be a bit slow. Music is playing. It is a small little coffee shop.
There is limited seating. Luckily I got a seat. The seating cushion does feel a bit hard. A charging port is located underneath the bench seats. The table seemed a bit dirty with little crumbs. It is not the typical wooden material…but still kept a napkin underneath. It is odd in a way for employees to use the customers space area to sit or placing their personal items on one table.
The employees kept busy which I liked seeing keeping things organized and not fooling around. I did see one wiping the counter up front where customers order. There is no restroom. Pick up is available.
I...

Tried to make eye contact with all of them but everyone avoided eye contact and was unwilling to help, everyone was focused on doing their assigned task and was not willing to put in any extra effort. I understand everyone can be busy but would have appreciated someone saying “someone will be right with you” instead of feeling like I was bothering everyone trying to order a coffee. First and last time stopping at this Starbucks, so many other locations offer much better...
