Unfortunately, we had an awful experience. The hostess/waitress was quite rude from the moment she saw us. She seemed frantic and chaotic with only one table in the restaurant having customers. When we first walked in, she was very cold to us and shouted from behind the counter. We apologized and said we didn't know we needed a reservation. She responded with an awful tone, something along the lines of, 'you can see we have limited seating' while making minimal eye contact. We just stood there for a minute and didn't know what to do as she stared into her computer, so we started to walk out. She sighed, said wait, she would see what she could do. Finally she decided to seat us. It took at least 15 minutes for her to come with glasses of water. When my daughter ordered the chicken marsala and asked for a garden salad with ceaser dressing on the side, the waitress said she could either get it with a different dressing or get the ceaser salad because everything is made to order...? If everything is made to order then why could the ceaser dressing not be made for the garden salad? It's still tossed in a bowl, just different greens and some other vegetables. When we tried to ask again, she quite literally rolled her eyes and responded with the same answer, which led me to believe the ceaser salad/dressing is NOT made to order. She ended up getting ranch that tasted like bottled garbage. My daughter then asked for extra marsala sauce for the chicken marsala. This woman looked at my adult daughter like she had three heads. She started to explain again, 'Everything is made to order how the chef makes it.' I said if the chef is making it "TO ORDER", then can we ask him to make extra sauce...??? Her response was something along the lines of 'well I'll ask but he makes it all the time and it's up to him.' Which was a wildly confusing answer. Never have I been to a restaurant where the chef was made to seem so incapable of making such simple adjustments to their dishes. We specifically chose to try this place (on my daughters birthday) because we have been looking for a different restaurant in the area to make one of our weekly dines. It's unfortunate that this one person could ruin our whole experience, but as long as she is there, we will not be. None of us enjoyed our food after this and just wanted to leave before it even came out. The amount of disrespect this hostess/waitress had, not only for us but for the chef, was incredibly disappointing. By the time we left (well under the 1.5 hour maximum), there were still empty tables. It is still unclear why there was such a struggle in the beginning to get us a table. There were...
Read moreOur experience at Abbioco was absolutely terrible!! We chose this restaurant to celebrate my fiancè's college graduation, & I have NEVER experienced such horrible service in all my life. First off, it took 15 mins for us to be seated. We never received any silverware, & we were sitting for 20 mins before our waitress came to take our drink order. We gave her our entire dinner order at once, which we waited for FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF to recieve. We never got the soups that we ordered, & when the waitress noticed this she actually asked us "do you still want them?". My mother & I waited an extra 10 mins for our coffee to be delivered to the table. Our waitress was very inconsiderate, & never even apologized for the severe lack of attention. Plus to top off our experience my mother ordered a cheese steak to go, & our waitress had to come back 5 mins after giving my mother her order to explain that she gave my mother the wrong cheese steak when we were about to leave. My mother then had to wait ANOTHER 15 MINUTES for the proper cheese steak that she STILL had to pay for.
While the atmosphere was nice & food was great (with the exception of my grandmother's crepe dessert which was super soggy), our waitress recieved 0 tip & we will NEVER be returning again. I strongly considered speaking to a manager, but I was so infuriated I chose to not cause a scene. I also noticed that there wasn't a single employee older than 20 something throughout the entire establishment, so perhaps that is the answer to our terrible experience. Regardless, I hope no one else has to spend over 2 hours and 45 mins...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Taste of Italy—Perfect for Families!
We recently dined at this gem of an Italian restaurant with our family, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed family evening. But the real star was the food—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The vodka risotto was nothing short of impeccable—creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s mastery. The veal francese was equally impressive: tender, delicately breaded, and bathed in a lemony sauce that was bright and satisfying without overpowering the dish.
Service was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the culinary and hospitality sides so well.
Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates genuine Italian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back when the...
