I have lived within about a 2 mile radius of this place since it opened, but rarely order out, so this is my first experience at DQ, and quite possibly, my last. My kids suggested this for dinner, so I downloaded the DQ app, and placed my order thru the app. My only option was to "Pick up inside". No curbside delivery or drive-thru option on the app? hmmmmmm, ok. When I got to the DQ, I noticed some folks at the patio enjoying their dairy treats, and the drive-thru was about 15 cars deep, wrapping round the back of the building and the lot. I park my car, check in via the app, put my mask on, and try to enter the restaraunt. Much to my surprise- nope......Locked. So I call the phone number, and get Hailey. Hailey says I have to wait in line at the drive thru for my app/online order, and then asks me "Are you Leah"? I said yes- and almost asked if someone could just hand me my order, but just got back in my car and got in line at the drive-thru. Well, since I had already "checked in" on the app, I was already certain my food would be cold by the time I got thru this line- and most DEFINITELY, would be cold when I finally got it home. Fifteen minutes later, I get to the window, where I was handed two bags, and I can hear Hailey say to the girl at the window "I don't know what else that order needs". Right then and there, I expected a problem. I ordered 1 strip meal combo, and 2 6pc strip baskets. Baskets did not come with the texas toast as advertised, and I had to go around YET AGAIN, since they forgot my large soft drinks. Certainly, my food was cold by the time I got it home, and we all know cold food is NOT best tasting. I don't like leaving negative reviews, although I am fairly certain it will not negatively affect this business. I must conclude that the negative reviews written by others are accurate, though. And that...
Read moreTwice now I have ordered on the app and when I arrived to the store, I was told they no longer sold what I was ordering. The first time, March 4, I waited 30 minutes in the drive through before I was informed it was no longer available, at this time I was issued a refund and my order was cancelled. The second time, April 25, I asked to cancel at the speaker after I was informed they no longer had what I wanted—Emily, who was at the speaker, told to cancel via the app. I got on the app, which then told me to call the store I placed my order at to cancel. I then call the store. The same worker, Emily, answered the phone and said they do not manage the app, couldn’t give a refund and the owner would have to call me the next day to fix the issue. It is now 3 days later, I was charged for an item I didn’t not receive, was not refunded and I have received no phone call from the owner. 1. Why isn’t your app up to date with what’s being sold at that location? Every other fast food restaurant has capability to turn off items that are sold out/not available. 2. Why can’t the workers cancel an online order if they are out of an item? 3. Why have 3 days passed without a solution from the owner? I had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Save yourself the hassle and...
Read moreThe service has always been terrible at this location, but I have over looked it because my kids enjoy it and the food is better than typical fast food places. However, the service has finally hit a tipping point and I will not be back. On my last visit I ordered 2 additional cheeseburgers and requested that these cheeseburgers be plain. When the food arrived the cheeseburgers were not plain and the kid taking the order argued that I never said they were plain. The manager decided to believe the kid and would not provide us with the corrected order. I have never been to any operation that serves food that would not fix a mistake during the order. I’ve been ordering my kids cheeseburgers for over 10 years and they have always been plain. I’m so used to ordering this way that sometimes I order myself plain burgers. Even if I truly didn’t order them plain, correct the order. This isn’t our first bad experience but it will certainly be our last. Get...
