ECHO Restaurant — Restaurant in South Abington Township

We went to the new restaurant Echo's tonight, to try it out for the first time. It’s in the former place where Gaetano’s used to be. There is a lot of miscommunication going on around Clarks Summit regarding this restaurant. It is NOT the same owners that owned Gaetano restaurant, previously. The new owners have a lot of experience in the restaurant business. They own many restaurants up at Lake Wallenpaupack and decided to try their luck down in the Abington‘s. Very underwhelming to say the least. Drinks from the bar, mixed and mock tails, were super. Our waitress seemed uninterested and lacked training. She would pull dirty dishes across our faces, standing on the left and pull from the right. However one waitress noticed we were done eating and she picked up our dishes. The cooks forgot to add the pesto aioli to the Chicken Pesto handheld. Probably go back for drinks and...

Had a fantastic dinner here tonight . Goat cheese app was delicious and topped with fried prosciutto, which was an interesting and tasty twist . Seafood bisque was perfect . Sea bass entree was perfectly seared and a generous portion . Crab cake entree was delicious and also two nicely sized cakes , meat was sweet and barely no taste of filler .
