From the unassuming exterior, one might assume that this small diner offers typical diner food; that is edible basics prepared by a barely adequate cook. But you would be wrong. As the name suggests, the kitchen adds fine details and extra nuances to every dish to elevate it above average diner food.
I stopped in here for lunch after having read several positive reviews. The interior is quaint and cozy. My ciabatta sandwich with house chicken salad was perfect, from the warm toasted bread to the candied nuts. The coleslaw carried a spicy bite of onion and white pepper to balance the sweetness. The fries were decent for from frozen. My daughter raved about her tuna melt! The Cream of Carrot soup was nuanced and novel. Service was friendly and quick.

Read moreUSED TO be our favorite Diner. HAS gone significantly down hill since covid. Tried it again today, food was pretty good but service was HORRIBLE. It took us 53 minutes to get 1 grilled cheese, 1 order of fries, 1 side of coke slaw, 1 blueberry pancake & 3 cokes.
-24 mins 2 place our order. -35 mins 2 get our drinks. 3 sodas, no fountain got cans served inside our "clean" cups of ice. -Our food was cold. -Our 1 blueberry pancake came out as a ? Chocolate. chip pancake vs a blueberry then waitress had here 2 ask if we wanted it off the bill. . after she came back with bill. -We watched ppl with larger more complex orders get their food & drinks way b4 us and they got there way behind us!
NEVER AGAIN. CLOSE UR DOORS if u can't provide...

Served cold fries and server never came back except to bring the check, her tip reflected her service as it should. Who serves cold fries? They should be made to order. Maybe extra was made for another order and I got the left overs! Servers need basic server training. Take order, drop food and check on table a couple minutes later to make sure they don’t need anything else and food was correct this is server 101. Plenty of better places to spend my money. I...
