On tonight around 9:15 pm my wife and I decided to grab ice cream after church. We stopped at the nearby Dairy Queen thinking that we were about to satisfy our urge. To our surprise the visit became hostile from the start. As I pulled up to the speaker, I asked first for the brownie cupfection and if the brownie could be warmed. The person in the microphone became extra rude from the beginning. (KATIE) stated that she did not have enough time nor the employees to simply place the brownie in microwave for 10 seconds. I then changed to the orange creamsicle shake. But before placing the order I asked the person in the mic was the shake machine even still up at that time of night as I know some establishments shut theirs down near closing to clean. Her response was "SHAKE MACHINE? We are NOT like McDonalds, and we do not have a shake machine. I stated I was sorry, and I did not know how they made their shakes being I did not work for Dairy Queen! KATIE came back on the mic and stated "I was just joking but since you can't take a joke then get out of my line. My response was "are you serious?" So, I can't place, and order and you are threatening me to move from the line and cannot order? This was completely uncalled for. At this point I asked for the manager. I was APPALLED to hear her answer stating that she was the manager. I then make my way around to the window where a young lady opened to pass the shake and take my money; I mentioned to her that I no longer wanted the shake and dilly bar due to the prior interaction and felt unsafe consuming anything at that point. I asked the young lady what was the person's name that was in the mic. I also proceeded to ask what the general managers name was. She stated Joe. KATIE came to the window and was overheard telling the young lady to just close the window in my face. Katie then comes to the window with the product stating "here, you can have it for free, I just need you to get out of my line. At this point I was over it. It's sad that she is left in charge and being this type of example for the teenagers standing by witnessing this. I'm hoping ownership speak with this young lady so that her approach with guest is much more professional and inviting. I'm sure she may be the reason they can't keep help at night, her attitude STANKS! Years ago, @Dairy Queen had a slogan; "We Treat You Right" I definitely understand now why they no...
Read moreWell it used to be a great place to get food and it still is a good place to get food thats cook properly. It may not be made right but its cooked and taste good. The staff has gone down hill in the past 5 to 6 months. I got there once every week or two. Also most of the employees there are extremely rude and even more so when you say you dont want to pull into a parking space and wait for your food in the drive through. They forget about you sometimes. I had to walk in and ask where my food was at a few times. This last visit was not a good one. A person in front of me had to pull up and wait for there food and then asked me to oull into this small spot. I said my car wouldnt fit and the staff got extremely mad. It messes with there drive through times if theybhave a car waiting on food. I waited from time of order to getting my food almost 18 minutes. Two burgers and two fries. Once the food was ready i was waiting and glad i did. The server, who i guess was a supervisor after i called to complain, threw my bag at me. It almost fell into my lap. I said a very sarcastic thanks as she shut the drive through doors. I called after i got home and thebdrive through person picked up and said she was a supervisor. I told her she was rude and she sad she wasnt being rude and appologized. Its sad they take their own drive through times as a lie to benefit them and puts a longer wait on...
Read moreThe manager hung the phone up on me after yelling on the phone because I requested my blizzard I pod 7 dollars for to be the one I actually paid for. I ordered a royal chocolate brownie and got vanilla with chocolate. After trying to call the store the manager was being short on the phone interrupting me stating “I can’t hear you your cutting in and out!” When I talked louder so she could hear me she started getting an attitude with me stating “I’m the manager! I won’t even put you in the books so you better lower your tone when talking to me!” When I replied that she was getting an attitude with me and being a Dairy Queen manager didn’t mean she could be like that to her customers she yelled and said “WHATS YOUR NAME ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!” And I told her my name and that she didn’t need to yell at me she hung the phone up. Will be getting in contact with the general manager of the store and would NEVER recommend ANYONE to have anything to do with this location or the female manager I spoke...
