Pizza Hut — Restaurant in South Bend

I used to like Pizza Hut, and will sometimes get it when on the road as I don’t really have one near my home. The only reason this location is getting any stars is because 1 star is the lowest rating After a busy day of work and exhausted from travel, all I wanted was to get to my hotel. I ordered a pizza at 9:09pm for delivery and was told that it would be between 45 minutes to an hour. I was fine with this, was just hungry and didn’t want to go anywhere. Well, at 10:30, still no pizza. I tried to call and the location was closed for the day. I waited until after 11 and called the Pizza Hut customer service line, and the best information they could offer is that someone would call me today. Bottom line…..they flat out did not deliver my order. Now I have to go through the hassle of being reimbursed and complaining. One thing is for sure….there is a reason that Pizza Hut doesn’t have the presence they once did and this is a blatant disregard for the customers. By the time 11:30 rolled around and I had the realization that my dinner was not going to be delivered, every restaurant around me was closed. Thank goodness for the hummus and crackers from the hotel. Thanks Pizza Hut at 2017 S Bend Ave for such a great experience. Oh and the hotel manager has had the same thing happen from this location as well. I will also ensure that this message is shared as this level of service is unacceptable for a single pizza that was going to cost me $24. ...

This would be a 0 star review if I could post one of those. I placed a carry-out order at the Pizza Hut on South Bend Ave in South Bend, IN [2017 South Bend Ave, South Bend, IN 46637] last evening. When I got to the restaurant well before any posted or listed closing time, the door was closed and locked. I called the number on the door for contactless delivery, and it took almost 10 min to connect with anyone. The staff at the restaurant then informed me that they had prematurely closed the restaurant and cancelled all the orders (including the one that already been paid for by me). They gave no reason and were fairly dismissive of the entire situation. The man on the phone claimed that the full order amount would be credited back to my credit card along with an additional "$20 credit" to use any time. Neither has happened to this point. This is wholly unacceptable and needs to be rectified. It would have also been nice to be informed that the order had...

If I could leave 0 stars, I definitely would!!! When I first walked in someone said, "They will be with you in a minute," then walked to the back and didn't tell anyone I was up there. I waited a good 5 minutes before another lady walked in and was greeted almost immediately. They tried to help her like I was invisible. Finally, I said something and the lady at the counter rolled her eyes and "apologized." So then, I get home and we go to eat our p'zones and there is about 10 pepperoni in there and a thin layer of cheese. So it's basically just bread. To top it off I ordered a cookie, which seemed warm then I open it and it's not cut. Just the whole cookie. Overall, I had an absolutely terrible experience.
