Pros: 24 hours, and the last choice in the area. Its all we have :(
The Open face turkey is fantastic! The Philly beef sandwich is great, and the breakfast foods are about normal, although I know a lot of places for cheaper and better breakfasts..
Service and Atmosphere are great!
Cons: Unfortunately that's where it ends. So stick to those thing (ya know, if you want to eat the same things every time you go),and your ok... Branch out further on the menu and your in for a bad experience.
Onion rings are never cooked long enough and the breading on them is not very good, some of the worst French fry's around (which are not French fry's they are seasoned or breaded fry's, labeled wrong) and also not cooked long enough.
Chicken strips are so dry, rubbery, and stringy its like pulling apart string cheese you have to chew. The breading belongs on catfish not chicken. They use the same breading (or very similar) on their mozzarella sticks and many other items, which results in food seasonings that aren't the best when paired.
Sandwiches like the club, etc, aren't very good.
Burgers aren't very good.
Bottom line is, the non-breakfast foods, really arent very good with few exceptions.
The soups are meh.
My favorite was when ordering the chicken strips from the Appetizer section of the menu for $7.99, they tried to talk me into getting the Chicken strips and fry's meal for $12.00... so $4 to add fry's that I wouldn't eat except in survival situations. Of course, I literally couldn't eat the chicken strips, they where that bad. That visit ended up with me going to a 7-11 to get something to eat, to try to forgot what I had jsut tried to eat.. not an exaggeration.
So in summary... I would never go here, except for the fact there's not anywhere else to go at late night.
At late night, there's 2-3 items on the menu that are good, and the rest is so bad I wont eat it if it was free.
Often when I suggest Nicks to other friends and family members, i get responses like "eeewwwwww..." So i know its not just me.
But as long as they keep rocking that Open Face turkey like it is, ill go here once or twice a year for one.. is...
Read moreNick's cooking has gone down over the years. I liked the years when he was on the premises. I think the cooks keep changing. I remember seeing Nick before the pandemic and then I didn't. We catered to Nicks during the pandemic, years helped the restaurant stay afloat. His place were friendlier now they are less friendly. We noticed the change in the cooking, before the pandemic. The menu has changed a lot too. Limited what you can eat after nine. Nick do itesn't have a cook for some foods although it's a 24 hr food restaurant. Waitresses are okay. It depends were you sit in their restaurant. We have been in every spot in his restaurant. Maybe Nick is there during the day or certain times of the day. The place seems busy day or night. We go in the evening now. During the pandemic we went in the day or just to have breakfast and dinner. We go less and less. It a local college hang out after hours because other restaurants are closed. That's the advantage Nick's has over other restaurants. We were attracted to Nick's because the food was very good, the waitresses were friendly. Friendly hostesses, atmosphere was friendly. It is still a good restaurant to go to and take large families. Nick's serves liquor which is a attraction besides the food. But we live less than 7 minutes away. I am sure the food prices went up before the pandemic and now are even higher! Once I would have given Nick's a higher rating! I hope Nicks can improve or recover and not go down. We have one like it in existence for now! We live less than 8 minutes away. Go and decide for yourself about the food and service. The waiters are very prompt to provide good service then a waitress appears. Depends on how busy they are the day you go to eat. I wish I could get my same waitress. Again it depends were you sit or the shift we go on. Of course. Otherwise, it's a nice place to go. Good couples place too! The choice is yours. We are still going back. We have ordered avd picked up. It's...

The service I received tonight was shameful. The night started with me trying to call ahead a place an order, at which point I was abruptly interrupted by AJ (The Night Manager) and told they don't take order after 9pm, before I could respond he hung up. With limited food opinions after 10pm, I decide to drive 20 minutes and place my order in person.
Once I arrive, I order two simple dinners, their signature Greek Chicken & Greek Burger and Fries. I wait an addition 30 minutes for my food, leave a respectable tip to the rude manager and drive home. To my disappointment, when I open my foggy plastic/tin to-go container there are no fries(see attached photos).
I quickly call the AJ back and try to explain that my order was wrong, however he keeps attempting to interrupt me saying " we don't take order after 9pm. After all but screaming at AJ, he finally stops and listens. After he acknowledges, my order is incomplete, I ask him how he plans on rectifying the inconvenience. He suggest that I drive back 20 minutes to pick up my fries at 12am in the morning.
I responded that, I would, but that my Burger and Fries meal would have to be refunded for the inconvenience and the 20 mins there and back ~ not to mention when he handed me the bag initially he read the order as if to reassure me that everything was in the bag.
This is when AJ, told me that refunds don't work that way, that it wasn't his job to make sure the order was complete and that if I wanted my fries, Id have to make the 40 min drive or settle for a $1.75 refund of my fries.
With the fries the meal was basically $13, my tip was $6. He had no problem pocking my tip. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The service and management need a...
