Perry Vine - In the Emporium Building — Restaurant in South Bend

This place is a GEM! I am so sad they have been open a year before I knew but I’m glad I know now! My friend and I saw that they were participating in an event in south bend so we stopped by but unfortunately we got there right as the event was over 😔 I went to introduce myself to the owner and tell them they will see us again soon and instead of just shaking my hand and agreeing to next time, they took my friend and I inside and gave us a tasting of their selection! Them doing that after just being posted up all day for an event truly speaks to their customer service and the passion they have for their business!

We tried several of their meads and let me just say…The mead is delicious, albeit a little dangerous because it does not taste as strong as it is 😂 but seriously delicious and very smooth! You can tell just thru tasting their mead that they love what they do and that they have put the time and the work into perfecting their product! When you hear people say “you can tell they put love in this,” this mead is what they’re talking about! Tou take a sip and you’re going to be smiling, trust me on that! My friend and I each grabbed a bottle to take home. More than that though, we will be back. Probably this Friday 😂

I discovered Perry Vine 3 years ago at the Indiana Beach Hops & Coaster Drops event. I was instantly hooked on their meads and could not wait for their storefront to open. I have been coming back often to try their newest releases and they never disappoint. I wouldn’t have missed their 1 year anniversary for anything. I continue to recommend Perry Vine to all of my friends and family and look forward to seeing all of their success...

Such great meads! I’ve had quite a few meads in my life and truly… I think this might be the best I’ve ever had! The cider and the peach were my top two favorite- but I loved all that I tried! (The honey and the strawberry being the other two flavors) Really cool to have something like this in South Bend.
