I don't know if Mayberry had an ice cream shop in the Andy Griffith show, but if it did it would be called Hi-Tams ice cream. And just like in Mayberry you would get some of the creamiest ice cream, that would be the center of the town's sweet tooth heart. That little walkway out front holds so many memories from generations upon generations of Somerset County residents. Super lucky to have a great place like Hi-Tams for delicious homemade icecream so close to home! I take care of an elderly gentleman and it's been hard on him and myself to stay sane under these quarantine orders. When we need a break from being in the house all day, we get in the car, open the windows for fresh air and we stop at HiTams for icecream. The lady at the counter has always been so kind and from what I have seen, has always taken every measure to keep me and all her customers safe by abiding by all the rules and regulations cited by the government.
