This was our first time eating here. We were in town for business and there was nothing else open. I read the reviews, so we decided to eat here. We won't be returning. Most diners give you tea, coffee & refills with your breakfast. We were charged separately for our 2 hot teas, which was $6.00. Refills were just hot water and the same bag. The second cup of tea was weak because we had to reuse the bag. If you're giving free refills on coffee, why can't you give me another tea bag? You're charging $3.00 for a cup of tea. We ordered sausage with our omelettes and received one sausage each, which they cut into 4 strips to make it look like more. We were charged $5.50 for two sausages. That's $2.25 per sausage. I didn't care for the smokey flavor but my sister liked it. Every diner we've been to serves two sausages per order. I'm glad we didn't ask for bacon, because we probably would have had one strip each cut into 4 pieces. The omelette and potatoes were delicious. Our service was great and he was very nice. For two people we paid $38.90 not including tip. I usually eat breakfast at Bridgewater Diner and Golden Corner in Bound Brook. The most I paid for breakfast for 3 people was $35.00. I feel like we were ripped off. We were better going across the street to Quik Check.

What an awesome gem tucked away in a corner. I met a dear friend of mine here because she loved it and what a great surprise! Once you enter, you’re warmly greeted, the staff is wonderful and attentive. The food comprises of a delicious collection of items to choose! Everything is fresh and full of amazing flavors. Great prices on the selection as well. And the feeling of being surrounded by so many locals gives it a charming feeling of days gone by.

Enjoyed a wonderful Sunday breakfast at J&G's Diner. I found this place from a quick Google search and I am so happy that I did. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the bacon was crispy and cooked perfectly, home fries were a nice surprise, the coffee was a pleasant addition to my soul breakfast. I will return and bring others along but maybe not I loved this quiet hidden gem. See you soon 😊

This diner looks tiny from the outside and while it's still a small place on the inside it's pretty great. The inside has been painted sort of Aztec-like in the front room and there's more fun paintings on the walls in the back seat in area. It's fun. More personality than just white walls. A local hole in the wall and we all know that hole in the wall places are always the best!

The food is very good. Large portions. Inexpensive. They will even take your number and call you when they make something you like. What service.

Staff is small in quantity, I've only seen two waitresses ever and the kitchen area seems very tiny for whomever is cooking but whatever they do in there comes out great. Waitresses are nice, pretty quiet and not women of many words but they aren't rude in any way, just shy or...

J & G Diner is a fantastic spot for a great meal! From the moment you walk in, the service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and quick. The staff makes you feel welcome and ensures everything is just right.

The food is delicious, with generous portions and a well-balanced menu that caters to different tastes. Whether you’re in for a hearty breakfast, a classic diner-style lunch, or a satisfying dinner, J & G Diner delivers quality and flavor.

Another big plus is the pricing—very reasonable for the quality of food and service. You get great value for your money without compromising on taste or portion size.

Overall, J & G Diner is a must-visit for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and great service. Highly...
