It's been several years since I last reviewed Pancho's, although I have dined there several times over the years. Pancho's remains a great choice for tasty Mexican food, and stays busy throughout the year, without being overwhelming. The quality of the food is excellent, the restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is, well, homey: nothing elaborate, just a comfortable place to eat. I had chilaquiles, which is a first for me, and really enjoyed them. While the prices are a bit higher than other local places, they are not exorbitant, and quite fair when you consider the quality of the ingredients used. I was surprised at the amount of takeout: Pancho's has a following that is obviously greater than the number of people dining in. Altogether a very pleasant dining experience. Try it!
A small but pleasant restaurant, good food. My fajitas were very good. You can bring your own wine or beer. Service was friendly, but I might suggest they offer tap water rather than the bottled stuff, and a couple extra napkins when they see it's getting messy would be good. Altogether, a nice...
Read moreFood was okay. Better than most Mexican places but definitely not the best I've had. Sure beats going to Taco Bell or Chipotle. I was trying to avoid fast food with the kids but didn't want to spend too much. I want to support someplace local for a quick bite. Definitely lived up to my expectations. The only complaint I really have was they charged some sort of convenience fee for eating in the dining room which I've never heard of before. Isn't that what the tip is for? Also like some other places that I do my best to avoid, they're charging an extra fee for credit card. For a place that is in competition with other takeout places and fast food joints, which welcomes credit cards, they shouldn't be charging extra for that convenience. I don't keep cash on me anymore because most places don't even want it. Because of those two extra charges I may not be going back. It's too bad because overall I like the food and the service but I had to take away part of the tip to cover the extra service costs. I still tipped well, but not as well as I usually do in order to pay the extra...
Read morePulled pork tacos are phenomenal. The green salsa is REALLY spicy but also delicious. The lady loves the chicken fajitas and we both destroy the chips and guacamole lol. They just recently increased the dining space which is great because it was cramped before and the tables were always full. Now they added about double the seating and feels much less cramped. They could use some wall art to liven the place up, maybe a couple of flat screens or hanging lights. But if you can overlook the decor for some amazing tacos and Mexican food, please try this humble hidden gem. You won’t regret it. Staff is always friendly.
Side note reading some other reviews, someone complained about not answering the phone, not sure what that’s about because they always answer for me. And I’ve been ordering for over a year
Another complained about thick tortilla chips lol. Yes they’re thick, not cheaply made tostitos chips. Although thick they...
