OWNER IS SEXIST AND RACIST I do not recommend coming here if you are a woman or non-Muslim. My boyfriend and I visited this food truck, and the person working there (Aman or Amar) addressed only him, completely ignoring me. While we were deciding what to order, he told my boyfriend not to listen to a woman, saying that a man doesn’t need a woman to make a decision and that he would make him great shawarma man to man.

This was on my birthday, and it completely ruined my day. When I confronted him for being openly sexist, he did not apologize to me. Instead, he apologized to my boyfriend. When I mentioned that I was Muslim, he finally said “Sorry, Muslim to Muslim,” which made me realize that if I had not been Muslim, I might not have received any apology at all.

He also told us he is the owner, which means this is not just a problem with an employee - it is the owner himself who is sexist.

As soon as I arrived the owner made me feel right at home, beautifully explaining the menu and what I could find (even having vegetarian friendly options!) I ordered the steak quesadilla which was complimented with some fries, both were perfectly seasoned. I mean I don’t get quesadillas from anywhere because they’re always too salty, but man this quesadilla was the best I’ve ever had, there wasn’t a single bite where I wasn’t audibly saying WOW. Same with the fries; everything was perfectly portioned and just enough food, not to mention the delicious side sauce it came with. Everything is made to order and is very fresh. I had the chicken shawarma and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy, tender and so flavorful. You could see the seasonings on the pieces (that’s how you know it’s been marinated, OMG)! My husband had the wings with some of the best BBQ sauce that I’ve tasted, along with those crispy Cajun seasoned fries. I had never had baklava like this and it definitely did not disappoint!!
