We are local and WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Fantastic food and the kitchen is open late!
Barnacle Bill's has a great friendly "small place" vibe, a perfect place to get a drink at the bar but also a full restaurant with nice large tables and booths on one end of the building so a comfortable place to have a wonderful casual dinner with the wife, family or large group.
The seafood is FANTASTIC! Its not just good food, its GREAT food! The oysters Rockefeller is my favorite but so is the hot wings and the seasoned fries are very special! No need to eat at those large Murrells Inlet places when you can have some of the the best seafood in the Inlet with that you are "at home" vibe!
The service is as good as it gets, our late night server bartender is so very nice and is 100% on top of things and her wonderful kindness keeps us returning!
During bike week Barnacle Bill's is right in the heart of the action so if you are an out of town ( or local ) biker and looking for the best food around, a cold one and a comfy booth to sit a bit ( with cold AC ) Barnacle Bill's is THE place to go during bike week or anytime but I find at Barnacle Bill's I get the best wings, seafood and friendly service that our entire Myrtle Beach area has to offer!
We work late and love that Barnacle Bill's is one of the few places on the beach we can get a real meal late. Somewhat limited late night menu till midnight but I had the best oysters Rockefeller on the beach at midnight last night! Simply wonderful!
Support local! We are so very happy to have Barnacle Bill's Rum & Raw Bar...
Read moreWe were at an event at the Beaver Bar next door for mustang week and decided to try the Tuesday specials this place had to offer for dinner ($2 tacos and $2 margaritas).
We sat down at a table and no one seemed to notice we had walked in. One member of our party found a waitress and we were told to move to the other side of the restaurant so we wouldn’t get overlooked. We moved and sat at a booth and still…..no one came to take our drink orders. I went and asked the bartender if someone could please come take our drink orders. Had this not worked, we would’ve simply walked out.
Finally a waitress came to take our drink orders. The $2 margaritas are very small and although I was asked if I wanted salt with it, they didn’t salt the rim of the glass. The second and third rounds of margaritas were also not as strong as the first. I could really care less when it’s a $2 margarita, but the drinks should be consistent.
Upon ordering our food (4 burgers and an order of 10 wings), we waited approximately 45 minutes for the food to come out. The burgers did not taste freshly made nor did the Mac and cheese that two of the burgers were topped with. Again, this is a bar and my expectations weren’t very high, but when it takes 45 minutes for the food to come out, I would expect it to be freshly made.
Maybe we hit this place on an off night because of all the good reviews, but I wasn’t impressed and will give another restaurant my business...

Music: great jams everything from Green Day - Holiday and Imagine Dragons - Radioactive to all the country hits. They also have a perfect working jukebox.
Food: I ordered the oysters Rockefeller, it is a half dozen fresh baked bills secret recipe oysters. Only took 10 minutes from order to being served. The speed and quality was perfection.
Drinks: very properly measured, Rick is a true mixologist. They have a great selection, only thing I could suggest would be a drink menu.
Head Chef- chase, politely came to visit us to ensure we were satisfied with our meal.
Owner- gage, He has a open door type of mentality that is so attractive for a business owner. He visited with a few people kept up great conversations while keeping his business running in the smoothest way possible.
