Boiling Springs Nutrition — Restaurant in South Carolina

I’ve been feeling under the weather for the past few days and had no appetite. A friend suggested I try Boiling Springs Nutrition (BSN). I had never been before, but after looking at the menu, I was intrigued—though I wasn’t sure what I needed. So, I called!

Amelia answered, and I explained how I had been feeling awful, needed hydration and nutrition, but had absolutely no appetite. I mentioned I was craving something fruity, and she started listing several options until one sounded perfect. She then customized it into a specialty drink, adding everything she knew I needed to get through this.

When I asked what my husband should say when he came to pick it up, Amelia asked for my name and told me to have him say he’s Kailee’s husband, and she would take care of the order. However, I didn’t realize my husband wasn’t home. I wanted the drinks sooner than he could get them, but as you know, when you’re sick, you don’t exactly feel or look your best, and I didn’t want to go in. So, I called BSN back, and Amelia answered again. I explained my situation, and she told me to come up to the shop. She said they would prepare my drinks and bring them out to me.

Amelia confirmed my order and got her manager to process it via debit card over the phone. When I pulled up to the shop, I called, and they immediately brought the drinks out with a sweet message written on them! They also personally wished me well, saying, “Hope you get to feeling better & be safe getting home!”

I left with tears of relief, feeling so thankful that there are still amazing people out there, and a few of them work at BSN. Not only did they make sure I got the nutrients and protein I needed, but they also made the process as easy as possible for me. The shop is about a 15-minute drive from our house, and with weekday afternoon traffic, that’s too far for me to go—especially when I’m sick. But honestly, I would still make the drive, or even pay the extra cost for DoorDash to get it delivered. That’s how impressed I was with the level of service and care they provided.

I love Boiling Springs Nutrition! I am there almost daily and have been since the previous owners. The new owners have continued the tradition of excellence that the original started. The new owners have done a makeover of the decor, and it looks fantastic! It is always spotless and super clean! The owners are very friendly and personable. They remember their customers. The drinks continue to be fantastic and very flavorable. They create fun different twists on many drinks and you have endless possibilities for flavors. Amelia is amazing she had told me to stop in and try it! She is very knowledgeable and knows what she is talking about and cares about the people and what they need I had surgery last year and she wished me well and told me to stop in when I was better now that I have healed the options she gave me have been a big big help. I have to keep my protein up and I have been so worn out on basic protein option and can’t get past the taste of some and this has given me more ways to get it in and keep my fluid intake up and helping me meet my protein goals without eating or doing the same ole same ole.
