Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Experience
This afternoon, I decided to stop by a local Mexican restaurant, hoping for a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. Upon arriving, I noticed the staff attempting to clean the food off the floor, and while I appreciate the effort, it immediately set an uncomfortable tone for my visit. The table we were seated at had barely been wiped down, which didn’t inspire confidence.
After placing our order, I noticed that our drink cups had been spilled and were sticky. When I politely requested a clean cup, the waitress seemed taken aback, almost offended by my request. This level of service was concerning, but I chose to brush it off, hoping the food would redeem the experience.
Sadly, that wasn’t the case. The tacos that arrived at our table were dried out and notably lacking in filling. When I inquired about this, the waitress looked at us as if we were clueless about how to order. It was at that moment I realized I was not about to be treated with the respect any customer deserves.
Frustrated, I decided to ask for the bill and leave without finishing my meal. Eating out should be a pleasant experience, not one where you feel judged and mistreated. It’s disheartening to think that some establishments forget that customer service is paramount, regardless of the circumstances.
My advice is simple: when you spend your money, make sure you receive the quality and respect you deserve. There are plenty of other dining options out there that value their customers and treat them like family. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone based on my experience.
In a world where we all deserve kindness and good service, let’s support businesses that truly care about...
Read moreFirst of all, let me start by saying that although the food is literally terrible, that alone wouldn’t have caused me to leave this review. I rarely leave reviews over bad food. In fact, due to a combination of the lack of good Mexican in the Springs and the fact that I usually try different things at a place at different times to give it a fair shot, I’ve eaten here 3x. The food was gross every single time.
But what brought me here today wasn’t the nasty food, it was the nasty attitude of the girl at the register. A young lady comes in and ordered only cheese dip to go. We’re not paying much attention but when the girl at the register brings the cheese dip out, she tells the young lady the total is $12 and some change. The girl says $13 for a cheese dip? She says yes it’s $10 plus tax. The young lady says I’m sorry I’m going to have to go somewhere else, I thought it would be like $7 at the most. The girl at the register says “if you don’t buy this, I’ll never serve you cheese dip again if you come and eat here.”
….. Like whaaaat??? 🤯🤯🤯
I’m sorry but that is crazy to me. I know $13 isn’t much but as I’m over there eating food that I’m having to force down bc I’m already on my third and final visit there just bc I never had one dish there that I liked and I felt sure I would be safe this time with tacos and rice.. but you’re going to tell the girl she has to take this cheese dip or else..?? Wow. Rude, unprofessional, bully. I’ll never eat here again and I encourage others to consider the character of the establishment as well as the food quality and in this case...
Read moreI ordered a garlic shrimp dish which was advertised as being a garlic shrimp dish. I love garlic and eat it often. But this dish had so much garlic it was inedible. I made them aware that I could not eat the dish. I have never sent a dish back to the kitchen in my life and I'm almost 50. I never complain because I'm paranoid to make a cook mad, but I couldn't eat it. It's the worst thing I've ever eaten. I asked it to be returned and just got two tacos, one beef, one chicken. The chicken tasted as if it had been in a salt brine all day. We went to pay and the guy at the register was trying to charge us for the garlic dish I could not muster to eat. He agreed to only take off half, despite the terrible dish. He said they didn't do anything wrong, but also acknowledged that he never even looked at the amount of garlic in the dish. It looked like someone spilled the garlic jar in there. I've never seen a business charge a person if they can't eat the food. That is terrible customer service and my party will not ever return here. Buyer beware. If you hate and it makes you sick, sorry, Charlie. You're...
