I've been here several times. Some good experiences.. Some bad. Today was both. When I came in, a lady with a heavy accent was trying to order food for her family and not having much luck. The cashier was becoming frustrated, and it clearly showed. Another employee, her name tag said Deanna, came over and relieved the cashier. She took her time, showed patience and completed the order. I quietly told her that she did a great job with that situation. She didn't say much. While I was waiting someone else ordered Boberry Biscuits. It sounded good to me so I got back in line for some too. I had such a great experience... Why not? Well, Deanna didn't ring up the order the way it should have been and called her shift manager, Jennifer, over. Jennifer informed me that I ordered incorrectly and that's why there was a problem. What? I asked her how was I supposed to ask? She didn't answer me but made sure to be overly sugary sweet when she handed my change. While I waited for my food, I watched Deanna help everyone. She was all over the place. She showed the guy bagging the orders the correct bag to use, ran down and helped the drive thru and was making sure everything was cooked and ready. I saw Jennifer once. Coming out of the back.. Where she went.. I couldn't see. When I was called up I asked her how long she had worked there. Do you know what the answer was? About a month. WOW!! Bojangles..i hope you know what you have in an employee with Deanna. She handled multiple situations with patience and grace while everyone else let her. You sure you have the job titles correct? I saw a natural leader in Deanna and she impressed me so much I didn't mind how long everything took. I knew she was doing her best and that's all that matters. I felt valued as a customer and that is saying a lot nowadays. Deanna.. Thank you again. You are a fantastic employee and I wanted to make sure that Bojangles knew this as well. You would have gotten 5 stars if you were the only one...
Read moreWorst Bojangles experience I’ve ever had tonight! Have been to this location several times before being from this city but now that I’ve moved to another state the times are just so few now. I am SOO disappointed!
Waited atleast 15 mins in the drive thru line at 830 at night because of the dining room being closed and drive thru was only option for all customers. That being said, the employees only had to focus on cooking and the customers in the drive thru…. Not any other customer. Anyhow, I ordered a kids meal Mac and cheese with green beans and a large coke and AFTER I paid and waited at the window for 5 minutes I was told that it would be an additional 15 minutes and asked me to pull forward. 15 minutes to make Mac and cheese?!?!?? A kids portion????? They couldn’t have told me that before I paid or even when I ordered since that was all I ordered? or even in the 5 minutes I waited after paying considering at this point I had already waited 5 minutes. At this point it was almost 9 pm and I had hungry children and with it being Sunday and businesses closing earlier than other nights leaving would have almost pointless, plus a hungry, cranky child for the rest of the night. NOPE! So I pulled up and waited….. for the 15 minutes they originally promised me plus another 8 minutes….. at least. I waited ATLEAST 40 minutes on a Sunday night for a Mac and cheese KIDS MEAL…. And almost 30 mins of that wait was after I...
Read moreThis was my first time in this Bojangles. When my husband and I pulled up a young man was scrubbing down the sidewalk to the entrance. He was taking his job seriously and doing a very thorough job. I found out his name is Anthony.
We went in and I ordered a Bojangles chicken sandwich. The young man who took my order, (his name was Parker), was polite, positive, and professional. We watched him work as my sandwich was being made, and I was so impressed with his work ethic and time management skills. He wasn't idle for a second. He kept busy cleaning everything, making sure the food area presented well, looking to see if any items were low and needing replenishing, and was right on top of making sure to let the cooks know what needed to be replenished in a very polite manner. While Michaela was boxing up dinners for the drive through, Parker was even quietly helping her by putting lids back on chaffing containers of potatoes and gravy, all without incident.
Needless to say, on a block that has Chic Fillet, Popeyes, and Bojangles, I will keep choosing Bojangles just because of the great service and what I saw today. Not only should their bosses be proud, but also their parents. I'm impressed and proud...
